Do you have any thoughts on the idea that, "KJVOnly", has within it an initial, "V", which stands for, "Version"?

Hey Alan, love the passion you’re bringing to this discussion! Your post really got me thinking about how the Holy Spirit works through Scripture to bring truth to life. I see this as a beautiful dance between God’s Word and His Spirit, and I think you’re onto something big here.

You’re right that the Bible isn’t just a book—it’s alive, powered by the Holy Spirit, like you said with those verses from Isaiah and Hebrews. From a psychology angle, I’d say this speaks to how God’s Word can transform our minds and hearts. It’s not just about reading the words but letting the Spirit make them real in our lives, like a counselor guiding us to truth. Historically, early Christians like Augustine talked about this too—how Scripture’s inspiration comes from God breathing life into it, no matter the version (Septuagint, Masoretic, or others).

I hear you on the “letter vs. spirit” thing. It’s like when Jesus called out the Pharisees for following rules but missing the heart of God’s law—love and mercy. The differences in translations? They’re like different lenses on the same truth. The Holy Spirit doesn’t get hung up on the exact wording but uses it to point us to Jesus. Historically, the early church used the Septuagint a ton, and the New Testament writers quoted it freely, showing God’s okay with some variation as long as the co4 re message shines through.

What do you think about how the Spirit guides us when we read different versions? Got any favorite verses where you’ve felt that “life” jump off the page?
Well, guess Who gets the GLORY!!! for something VERY BIG TIME, like you said to God has shown me, since Jesus said, My Words "are Spirit and they are Life."

Proverbs 8, where Jesus is 'Wisdom' and starting at 8:22 down to 30, it says that Jesus was Rejoicing before God the Father, "ALWAYS". That says a lot.

Well, guess Who gets the GLORY!!! for something VERY BIG TIME, like you said that God has shown me, since Jesus said, My Word is " Spirit and it is Life" and
God 's Spirit Never Allows the Inspired Word of God to RETURN TO HIM VOID!

RIGHT? PRAISE GOD! THE HOLY BIBLE IS ALIVE!

What do you think about how the Spirit guides us when we read different versions?
If you think about it, why would The Holy Spirit erase 15-20% of Jesus'
and the other New Testament writers' words when His Word is Spirit and it is Life?

( And why, then, wasn't 15-20% of The Old Testament cut out of those 'bibles', too?)

Got any favorite verses where you’ve felt that “life” jump off the page?
The WAY to visually see and observe the Life that Inspires God's Word,
1.) Look up an Audio version of the Bible online, if you don't have one.
See if you have one that you like to hear
2.) And one that goes on and continues reading from Book to Book without stopping.
3.) Then starting with John or Romans or Galatians, this part is important ;
4.) "Read each verse a little ahead of where they are at in their Audio reading",
so that the Words are already in your head when they read the Bible as you go along.

5. ) So, as you are reading, "In the beginning was the Word",
they are then saying, "In the beginning was the word",
then as you go from there, just stay reading the Bible, too, yourself, as the Audio plays
and while you stay just ahead of them.
6.) Once, they have marched you through 3 or 4 books right quick,
7.) Your Faith should be flying as HIGH in Pure Belief, as it ever was
and you should have experienced the Words being Spiritually Illuminated
AS THEY JUMP OFF THE PAGE AND MAY BE VISIBLY SEEN BY YOU
AS THEY TRAVEL UP AND ARE CONNECTED TO YOUR EYES
AND THEY MAKE CONTACT WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT IN YOU, OF COURSE.

Try it. It could be one of the most profitable expenditures of time you ever make.

Here's Alexander Scourby with the Bible books in order, Genesis to Revelation;

These only contain one book each, but Alexander Scourby is the best ever.

Then, here are these: Audio Bible: Listen Online for Free (KJV, ESV, & More)

15-20% of the New Testament cut out? I believe that to be false witness.
Oh, and by the way, was it 15 or 20% of the New Testament cut out?

Circular reason and logic, as Kjvo presupposes that the Kjv translation is inspired and perfect, as was TR, so anything less than them

One can see them as being part of the originals when written, but one can also by textual criticism deny that as the truth, does not mean though that those who do not see them as part of the originals see bible as not inspired, not inerrant etc
The tenet being all the 27 New Testament books were authored in the first century being Godbreathed.

Which pretty much is held as to the originals books, as held position by pretty much all scholars who have worked on English Bible translations of the MV
