That’s not what he said, he stated that he doesn’t have the ability to modernize, that he has repeatedly tried but was told it’s Congress that has to change the system …& they have other priorities ( but for the life of me I don’t see it…going to congress with money requests is like selling life insurance to the dead).

DOGE .....

If you think there are genuine 150 year old, 250 year old and 300 year old welfare recipients and that there is no waste, go right ahead.
All of these things threaten the viability of paying you anything.

I think Trump will extend social security’s viability a few more years, but the debt is far too high, and there will not be enough money.

Too much has been wasted, the government won’t be able to afford social security. Too many snouts in the trough, the genuine recipients will miss out as a result.

I would look to alternate means of income now.

I worked 50 years for that money. Allot of retires are in the same boat. You start treating my investment and there will be hell to pay.

As a businessman Trump sees America’s money as his money, he wants to protect it, grow it and not lose it.
He takes it personally.

The Democrats see it as as someone else’s money, and waste it stupidly, it’s trash to them.

If Trump and Elon had not stepped in, you had less than 5 years till social security collapse.
No previous government was looking into the waste, theft and fraud in the billions like they have been, no one.
The more they find and cut off the grift, the more is available for genuine social security recipients like yourself.

First, I don’t see him as a business man. He is a peddler. And I have no interest in politics…they are all crooks. My people did not work in coal mines, farms and in factories to have politicians take our hard money away from us. Now you are talking revolution and most hard working Americans who have sweated and scrimped and saved agree with me.

Trump is a businessman and he has given up a great deal and been through a great deal to do the job he doing and not even getting paid for it.

If Trump fails, your social security will fail. No one else is reigning in the waste, and no one else will.

Debt levels have reached the vertical limit, any more without growth in revenue will end your social security money.

No money for you if Trump fails.

My family are military…WW2, Korea, Viet Nam, Afghanistan, Iraq. We were always called on to fight & kill those who threaten, who hold to Communism, Fascism, Nazi’s. Many lost their lives their legs and arms, many returned with PTSD, alcoholism, depression. We paid our dues but with this political situation, I will not allow it to continue. Not my son and not my grandchildren.

Please give me:
A) a very good definition of the "rich"
B) of the total amount of federal income taxes recd, what % of that amount do the "rich" pay?

They can not answer those questions because it’s the beginning of their unraveling.
