So, believing the Bible is perfect is not right. Got it.
That is not what I stated. My statement states the truth. You improperly try to put words in my mouth that I did not say.

The Scriptures acknowledge that professed believers or those who have faith can be deceived or can even deceive themselves (1 John 1:8, James 1:22, James 1:26, 1 Cor. 10:12, Gal. 6:3, Eph. 5:6, Col. 2:4, Rom. 16:18). The Lord Jesus and the apostle John warned believers of the possibility of being deceived by man (Matt. 24:4, Mark 13:5, 1 John 3:7). Do you reject what those verses in the KJV state and teach?

It is all Scripture given by inspiration of God to the prophets and apostles that is perfect.

The Scriptures do not teach that the translation decisions of one exclusive group of Church of England men in 1611 would be or are perfect. You add to the Scriptures or read into them human, non-scriptural KJV-only opinions.

Shawn, why do you feel that you have to win the argument instead of defending your position rationally? I read a post on another thread earlier where one of the moderators said that you have been banned at least two times for this same arrogant attitude. If this topic riles you up so much, I highly suggest that you shift over to a different one. I only say this because I don't want to see anybody get banned if it can be avoided.

No, believing that one particular translation of the bible into one particular language is perfect. That is what some of us say is not right. The bible, the word of God as He originally gave it in Hebrew and Greek, is perfect and totally without error.

Shawn, your insistence that the "Easter" goof is correct in the KJV's Acts 12:4 is correct, DESPITE its being proven incorrect right here shows you believe in what MEN told you instead of what GOD said, proves you need to study God's word fervently, with earnest prayer for understanding. Please abandon the KJVO myth. You can continue using the KJV, but don't expect to win anyone else to the view you've shown so far.
