Must we have an Inerrant and perfect English translation in order to have a real bible?

Since we Baptists state that only originals were inspired and inerrant, would we have to have same qualities for our translations in order to have a trustworthy bible to us for use today?

Addressing the Title question, Nope, only one that is trustworthy and reliable.

The opening post is gibberish, as if only the originals are inspired and inerrant, and we do not have them, then we cannot know how close our copies come to that criteria. However, again relying of scripture, we can rely on our translations as trustworthy and reliable.

its a prety much impossible task.

to interpret the Greek to English the nt alone would be larger than our current complete English bible.. the Greek is far more complex. and in any attempt to interpret word for word to English is technically impossible

So we then do have reliable and trustworthy translation today then, correct?

No. I'd add, we must realize that English translations of the Bible are translations. BUT God's Word transcends translations.
