Being slain in the Spirt

This post is confusing a supernatural event with a supposed natural event and therefore has no relevance to the topic of the thread.
No, my post #37 was contrasting a fake psychological event (slaying in the spirit) with a real supernatural event (slaying by the Spirit due to lying to the church leaders, and ending up physically dead).

There may be more harsh judgment for those who use the name of Jesus to exploit the immature and vulnerable.
Tim Brings up a very interesting point!

As a Cessionalist, I see this a performative hogwash, the product of Charlatans and their dupes. Van -

So, if you did happen to visit a church that was practicing slaying in the Spirt -
Would you get up and call them Charlatans and dupes?
Would you say anything - would you leave immediately - or what?

Suppose the next day - someone who was there being "slain in the spirit"
and asked you what your thought - why you left early (if that was the case)
How would such a discussion go?

Why are you addressing me and not my viewpoint. As a guest visiting another church, I would NOT be inclined to offer gratuitous advice. But in a setting where my viewpoint was sought, then I would offer my viewpoint, which I did in my post #11. See 1 Peter 3:15

The rubber meets the road somewhere. It’s great to be a philosopher if your philosophy is good enough to put into practice.
You were just asked how you would put your philosophy into practice. It is a legitimate question.

Yet another "bash Van" post, I answered the question. All these posts that address my behavior are not seeking edification but vilification.

Not vilification. We don’t need to bash anyone. You do enough of it to yourself.
I merely said it was a legitimate question to put to someone’s philosophy. Can it be applied or is it only good on paper?

If you would stop making such a fuss about nothing and answer the question, we could get on with discussion.
To always holler about how people are attacking you (when they are not) tends to give the impression that you have no substance behind your philosophy, particularly when asked to apply it to a scenario.
But if it bothers you to answer what you would do, tell us what we should do when we find ourselves in that scenario.
It really has nothing to do with you personally. Tell us how to apply your own ideas under the given circumstances.
