Praying for Revival?

Well done, Salty! But I'm a bit distressed that no one else seems to have an interest in revival.
My question was inspired, if that's the right word, by news that a derilect Methodist church in my home city of Exeter UK has been taken over by a circus group and instead of the word of God being preached there, it will be used to train jugglers, accrobats, tightrope walkers and clowns. The news article was accompanied by some jocular comments by secularists.
The church was large enough to seat around 500 people, and we were told that at its inaugural service, around 1820, dozens of people were turned away. It made me think how much we need the Holy Spirit to come again in power.
Actually, the situation is not that bad. Two Bible-believing churches have been planted in Exeter recently, and both of them are already reporting congregations of over 100. They have no premises of their own, but meet in a school gymnasium and a hall. The issue, of course is that the old denominations, like the Methodists, are collapsing in a heap, but Praise God! New churches are rising up.

May I recommend a really excellent book called Revival - A people saturated with God. Amazon.co.uk The stories it tells of revivals all over the world will thrill you and make you long for revival to come to your area.

I join in a prayer meeting on Zoom most Saturday mornings to pray for revival, and when praying at my church of elsewhere, I am always pleading with God to visit my land in true revival power.

Well, the church we meet in (in the center of town) can seat about 500 - but it only averages about 20 per week. One pastor stated he did not come because Friday is his day off.
We have been meeting for well over 3 years - every Friday! but there has not been any noticeable change in our city.
