I have been called a “heretic” many times in various posts for posting the orthodox views of the Ante-Nicene Church Fathers, and the violating posts have never been edited by a moderator, so it’s pretty obvious what the people around here think I am. Of course that doesn’t say a whole lot for what these people think about what the Bible teaches when it contradicts their favorite doctrines!

Since this test deals mainly with the Diety of Christ and the Trinity and surrounding issues, if you flunk it you're in trouble. Chalcedon is a very conservative Presbyterian organization.

The reference to Chalcedon it the Council of Chalcadon AD 451, the last of the four great councils to address the Divinity of Christ.

The test says that I'm not a heretic either, which I know to be false because I've been told I'm one right here! Therefore this test has no validity. Practically all of us are heretics according to Petrel's Law, carefully formulated by observation and extensive testing:

As any religious debate thread continues, the probability of someone claiming spiritual superiority approaches 1.

Corollary 1: An individual can raise the odds of being the one to fulfill this law by simply claiming that those who disagree with him or her are lying (not just mistaken and certainly not having arrived at a contrary position based on evidence and rational thought).

Corollary 2: Once a person has fulfilled this law, all opponents are clearly heretics.

I'm guessing this is either Catholic or Presby with all the sacrament questions.
