    This is the way I define it:
    1. Judgement is what we deserve.
    2. Mercy is getting what we don't deserve.
    3. Grace is the reason we got Mercy.

    Mercy is not getting something we DO deserve
    Grace is getting something we DON'T deserve

    Therefore, we are saved from hell by God's mercy, and saved to heaven by God's grace.

    Thanks for the replies and the answers. Sorry it has been a while since I checked the BB, our computer is down, and I am nearing finals at WKU and I only hop on and off as time permits while on campus, or at the Glasgow, Public Library.

    I also believe Mercy and Grace are different. I believe mercy is part of the Longsuffering of God which sometimes is called common grace that all men feel. More thoughts are welcome, I am studying these two now;

    God Bless.

    According to my American Heritage Dictionary:
    According to the dictionary, it apears that the two words are synonymous with each other.
