Just out of curiosity, is this show worth watching every Sunday at 7:00? I am looking for someone other than Schuller to watch.

Schuller is not my type of preacher. What do you watch RSR?

You actually watch Schuller????? Ugh!!!! What on earth do you get from watching a heretic like him?

Stanley is worth watching, although sometimes he gets to involved in preaching about self-esteem and modern psychology, etc.

But, for the most part, Charles Stanley is very good and probably the best preacher on Tv.

I like Charles Stanley. Adrian Rogers is my favorite, though.

I grew up sitting on the front row of Charles Stanley's church (right next to John Glover's family) at the 9am service for years. You see where all that good preaching brought me ;).

I used too. Schuller is my grandparents favorite. Hey, want to know something funny? I got up at 6:45 CST to watch Charles Stanley on channel 5 KSTP, and all that was on was a paid-program! Grrrr.

Hey James2... I AGREE! James Kennedy is good too. I do like Charles Stanley and liked it even better with Andy Stanley would be on "In Touch" as well.

    To John 3:16:

Sorry, I hadn't revisited this thread lately; I was unaware you'd asked a question.

I have pretty poor opinion of most TV preachers; this goes back to the PTL scandal; I knew there was something wrong with the network, but my neighbor was enthralled by it.

When it crashed, it took a real toll on his faith.

I pretty much like Charles Stanley. Kennedy is too much of a culture warrior. I watch Schuller occasionally because he has wonderful music: Just turn the channel when he starts preaching.

I used to enjoy a radio preacher, Church Swindoll, who is now at Dallas Theological Seminary. Insight.org.

I'm sure that media preachers serve a need, but they can only be ancillary to your local church. All preachers are human, and the fact that he can talk to million people at one time doesn't change that.
