Thank you for the kind words. Whatever else I may be in the opinion of some here, I'm still a pastor - which means I do not have the luxury of tearing down the Body of Christ.

You definitely FALL into the "False Teacher" category as described in the books I mentioned earlier.

Rev Joshua, I'd just like to say that I've been consistently impressed at your good example of how to carry oneself in these discussions. I'm not completely aware of your theology, but I gather from what I've read that we'd probably disagree on most things. Regardless of that, I'm happy that we'll be able to disagree with civility, because I intend on doing my best to follow your good example. You've taken a lot of abuse, and handled it with a lot of class... I just hope you realize that you have the respect of many on this board, including many conservatives. Don't let the rabble-rousers get you down

SIN is SIN!</font>[/QUOTE]Jesus said if they are not against us they are for us, but contrary to some opinions on this thread these two and others are false teachers and their doctrines do divide and tear down the essential truths of Scripture, just recently Joshua said that he didn't believe one word of the Bible was the "Word of God" how can we be blinded to this. I will agree that for the most part Josh is nice, nicer than Post it especially, but in the arena of false teaching how many points do we get for nice?

 

postate and villians believe in murder, with the support of abortion, they don't believe in the Virgin birth, they use perverted Bibles to base their false doctrines, and on top of that, they don't believe in the inerrency of the Bible, and support the homosexuals.

Well, excuse me, villians believes the Virgin birth because it is "tradition" not because it is fact.

I make no apology for my opinions and views, for the Bible says that these guys are "FALSE TEACHERS" and those of you that are decieved by their appearence as an angel of light, as they believe their father the Devil, Jesus told of you too!

Come out from them and have nothing to do with the unfruitful works of darkness!

 

I can appreciate kind heartedness and politeness like others here and I agree,these are very nice to converse with....but,true edification is based on Truth and on sound doctrine,not on good manners....so,I will just say I nicely am opposed to any teaching that is not biblical,but I am not against any person or people on this board. I may just be opposed to their teaching or comments.

Can't you allow another believer in Jesus Christ the praise they deserve for not being offensive in their comments? Even though you have repeatedly attacked Rev. Joshua, still he has maintained his polite decorum. I have a lot of respect for the way he let your uncharitable comments go unanswered.

You have in fact strengthened the praise given Rev. Joshua. You have given him another opportunity to prove that the praise given him was warrented. Bravo.

Are you seriously putting yourself in the same catagory as Jesus now?

This is the second public warning in this forum this day about the tone of posts being presented. The rules of this site are being violated in the tones presented.

I would strongly recommend that the contributors of this thread read Matthew 12:22-37 and give special consideration to Christ's warning in verses 36 & 37.

I would also point out that it is not necessary to contribute to every single thread if you do not have an edifying contribution to make. These personal attacks must cease. By continuing in personal attacks, members risk suspension and possible banning. By personal attacks, I am referring to goading, name-calling, and slander.

Next warning I call names and recommend the penalty box. If you have such a problem with someone, get into the Word and refute them from It. Debate theologies and positions from Scripture on the appropriate threads. Show grace to fellow members.
