The next sermon John Piper preaches ;)

And I agree with Tom; Alistair Begg is (nearly) the best.

One of the many great sermons I've heard was "How To Keep Your Shout When The Bottom Falls Out" preached by Dr. Phil Kidd.

Best sermon I ever heard? That is hard but I will try my best. Dr. Jim Delashmit preached in chapel at Hyles-Anderson "Things I'm Glad I Don't Have" and Dr. Hyles "Fresh Oil"

Along with J. Harold's Smith "God Three Deadlines", which I've heard 2 separate times in my life, another, lesser known preacher, by the name of Bro. Ed McAbee out of Gaffney, SC, has preached several times the "Message of The Mirror" out of James 1: 16-25. Truly one of the most thought provoking messages that inpacted my life.

Including my father's messages that rank into the thousands over the years, being the PK that I am, one in particular stands out: "Starting Over"; a message on God's unwavering grace, Presented by my dad, Bro. W.H. Brantner.

I'm not a tape listener but one of the best was a tape I heard from someone at a Bible college or seminary in Columbia, SC (first name Ian, I wish I could remember the last name), that explained original sin so that it made much more sense, if one started with the premise of the existence of God or a personal God at least. Since the injustice of original sin has always troubled me, as well as what seems to me the injustice of an eternal Hell, I was especially intrigued and interested. Unfortunately, I lost the tape long ago and was unable to get another copy.

I believe all sermons I have heard since being saved have been great, but one in particular stays in my mind. Our Pastor had to make a trip out of state, so another Pastor took his place that Sunday morning. The sermon was called "The Steps of Backsliding." Well don't you know, I was sure this sermon was for all those "Mature Christians" sitting in the church with me that day! I being just a babe in Christ and on fire for the Lord could not possibly be backsidden already, Right? I was sure everyone in that Sunday morning service was going to be squirming before that service was over. I was already starting to feel sorry for them.
The Pastor barely got into the sermon before I realized, there I was, standing on the very first step of being backsliden! ME, the babe in Christ! At first I thought I must have heard him wrong! But no, he repeated it again and sure enough, there I was big as life a "Backslidder" already! I was mortified but also ashamed of myself. Ashamed for many reasons. First for letting down the Lord and secondly for judging my fellow brother and sisters. When that sermon was over I asked the Pastor if I could have a copy of it. I wanted to keep it near me so I could keep an eye on myself.

There's loads of sermons from different preahers--Adrian Rogers, James Merritt, Junior Hill. One of the best "Flameing" messages of all time was one I heard from Brother Bailey Smith titled, "Barley Fields on Fire!"

Dr. Tony Evans...don't remember the name of the sermon exactly, but it was on "Used To Be Christians". It was a rerun on a local Christian radio station and touched my heart. After having been out of church for nearly four years, I was in church the next Sunday.

Anything from Jack Hyles. "Your sin will find you out" is what is coming to mind about now.

Now that I am back in church and have God back in my life, I love my current Pastor, Mr. Wayne Surface. You can hear any of his sermons from my church website.

This week we are having revival with Evangelist Rich Tozour and he is extremely gifted and preaches a great sermon. His link his here below:

This past Easter, Michael Ross--pastor of Trinity Presbyterian Church(PCA) in Jackson, MS--preached a sermon encouraging us Christians to be active in sharing our faith with the lost. A good sermon, but something rather unique for Resurrection Sunday.

Dr. David Gibbs is one of the finest men that I have ever heard preach. Each time I hear him I walk away from the service moved by the Spirit of God.

Dr. Sam Davison preached a message entitled "A Lesser Apostacy" that has to rank right up there toward the top.

My Pastor, Dr. S.M. Davis, grew up under the ministry of Bro. Ed McAbee in Gaffney, SC. I have several tapes in my library of sermons that Bro. McAbee preached years ago. He is one of the best.

Another great message that my Pastor Dr. S.M. Davis preached is entitled "My Son, Give Me Thine Heart."
