    The Mists of Avalon
(side note - fairly good movie, standing on its own, but compared to the book? Awful. I would have much preferred to see it adapted much as The Lord of the Rings has been. Or at least as a mini-series or just a longer movie.)

    American Gothic

(Oh. [IMG] I don't have cable, so I saw the one TNT did when it came out on DVD. Didn't realize it was done as a mini-series. Still, it could have been ever so much better than it was. The acting was good, but they lost or changed so much story that was really quite relevant.)

Woo-hoo!!! A stumper!!! It's from "The Princess Bride" when Prince Humperdinck is getting ready to kill Westley because he (Westley) has come to steal his (Humperdinck's) bride, Buttercup, whom he (Humperdinck) is only marrying so he can kill her and blame it on a neighboring country so they (the two countries) can go to war and he (Humperdinck) can take over both. Westley's on the "Machine," which according to Count Rugen is based on the idea of the suction pump, but instead of water, he sucks life, and has had one or two years of his life sucked away, and Humperdinck runs in and says a little speech, and then throws the lever up to 50.

"No, not to fifty!" says Rugen.

And Westley howls and shrieks, and we think he's dead.

Okay, sorry - it's just such a great movie, and the set up is good.

Okay, Paul says that to Holly in "Breakfast at Tiffany's."

"Clearly his best way of escaping death was to pretend to be dead already."

I cheated on that one, too, and a good thing, 'cos I never would have gotten it!

That's probably true, but I was thinking of Alias.

What search engine do you use? Either mine is not working or I am not awake yet. I put in your last quote and it took me to a very dirty movie! I never did find the movie the quote was in!
