So Long my friend, and good luck in the Tribulation.

Your belief in this matter does not determine your salvation, but only how you arrive at your destination. Just as long as He knows what He is talking about is what matters, and we'll know in that day that He did know what He was talking about.

    Mel had written:
Why can't you stick to a given TEXT of Scripture in which the incorrect translation proves men have swallowed the "vain tradition of men" that led translators to NOT ONCE translate THUMOS as "anger"? Col.2:8. Why can't you admit truth for a change?? I have lost interest in discussing anything with you as you equate what you think with God's Holy word and constantly put me down as being ignorant of His word!!!

ituttut concludes: "Then let this be the end, after I answer your `swan song' showing His Word defeated you. Just as long as He knows what He is talking about is what matters, and we'll know in that day that He did know what He was talking about". Bye

Ituttut, You continue to ignorantly assume that translators of the KJV (OT now) into Greek prove your point and disprove mine. In Isa.13:9 those KJV translators rendered THUMOS as "wrath" and ORGAY as "fierce anger"! Thumos and Orgay are locked together (with Thumos appearing first in the sentence so that they twisted the translation just as they did in the NT). Eph.4:31; Col.3:8; Rev.14:10. You, sir, quote their mis-translation of the OT Septuagint Greek text!! On that Day, says Isaiah, "God will destroy all sinners out of the land" while you misapply the eternal result of this act to the tribulation period instead of the 12-Hour-Day "Christ comes to destroy ALL who refuse to repent ON THAT DAY"!!! 2 Thes.1:10.

Again, in Isa.13:13, the Lord states He will "remove the earth out of its place in His anger and wrath (Thumos first and Orgay locked together)
for what occurs on the same DAY God destroys all the sinners! Again,
you are reading the twisted translation that renders THUMOS as "wrath"
and ORGAY as "fierce anger"!! In each case, vs.9 and vs.13, THUMOS (anger) occurs before ORGAY (wrath) in the Greek text!!!

You refuse to acknowledge that God's "anger" becomes "fierce" (mixing for the first and only time during the last days) exclusively ON THE DAY Christ comes with all the Saints so as to:

ONE: Take vengeance on all who are gathered to Armageddon! TWO: Be glorified in ALL the Saints including Trib-Survivors!! THREE: Be admired by all Israel who (come to) believe (present active indicative) DURING THAT 12-HOUR DAY!!! 2 Thess.1:10.
Praise God for His promise to "keep us from that HOUR OF TRIAL"! :godisgood:

    ituttut,

Just in case you once again try to confuse others by stating that the "Days of God's Vengeance" on Israel began prior to AD 70 (indeed, when He "gave Israel a king in His anger and took him away in His wrath")
please do not try to confuse them by twisting the meaning of one of my remarks above:

"You refuse to acknowledge that God's`anger' becomes `fierce' (mixing (with wrath) for the first and only time during the last days) exclusively ON THE DAY Christ comes with all the Saints" so as to fulfill the three
    things predicted in 2 Thess.1:10:

ONE: Take vengeance on all who are gathered to Armageddon! TWO: Be glorified in ALL the Saints including Trib-Survivors!! THREE: Be admired by all Israel who (come to) believe (present active indicative) DURING THAT 12-HOUR DAY!!!

Let me anticipate if you challenge me by stating the wrath of the "last days" (for Israel) began prior to AD 70. That would be correct since those days will not end until (within 3 1/2 days after) the Two Prophets are killed and "Gentile times are finished". Luke 21:22-24; Rev.10:6-7; Rev.11:6-7. I repeat what you cannot dispute: the DAY of God's Wrath is the DAY Christ comes to fulfill the three things embraced by 2 Thess.1:10.

The mixing of the deadly wine of God's anger "full strenth" in the Cup of His wrath requires the witness of the Two Prophets and 144,000 Jews caught up to heaven on the last day (since ALL believers rise up on the last day; John 6:38-40,44,54). That witness even includes the martyrs
"out of the great tribulation (seen by Daniel and John retrospectively) sitting in judgment" upon the wicked during the Court Trial of Dan.7 and Seal 7 ... after they "present the Son of Man to the Ancient of Days".
    Dan.7:13-22; Rev.8:1-5; Rev.20:4.

Again, thank God that He will "keep us from the Hour of Trial" during which
at least 5 million Jews "mourn and beg to stand before the Son of Man" and are "kept alive" to enter and to help populate the Kingdom under their Messiah! Luke 21:34-36; Luke 17:30-33.
