    Good morning all,

Bro. Ed: I did not even know he was going to remove this 'spot' yesterday. He only had to 'hit' it 3 times with the liquid nitrogen. There is 1 that I have to go back for. He said it would need to be 'snipped'.

I slept for a full 7 hours and it felt good! [IMG]

It is 1ºF right now with a windchill of -24ºF. I am so thankful for a toasty warm house!

This is a good day to snuggle on the couch with an afghan, a cup of hot cocoa and a good book, and hopefully get rid of this headache that stayed with me through the night...

    HAGD all!

Well winter is visiting us again this morning. After being in the sixties the past two days they are predicting snow, sleet or freezing rain for us today into tomorrow. It is raining already and the temp has fallen from 40 to nearly 32. Here's hoping we make it through basketball this morning. Then we can all come home and play video games and the weather can do what it likes!

Sue, I'm glad you slept well last night. My own wasn't to good. I kept thinking about this past weeks events and then dreaming about them and then waking up and thinking about them again. I must have slept some because I seem to have plenty of energy. Only problem is that I bent over yesterday to plug in the iron and when I straightened up I pulled my back out again. Same stupid muscle I always pull. So I've hit the muscle relaxers and the advil. I'll be able to use this energy soon!

We're having soup to go with our cold this pm. And cornbread. Mmmmm, to bad it's only breakfast!

    Ya'll have a good day!

    Morning Gang,
Finally got ahold of a rehabber this morning, & they were no help at all. They can't give out any information regarding medical care for wildlife cause they could loose their license to treat wildlife. Ain't that a good one. Actually though She did inform me the reason I can't get a permit for BH is cause it'e illegal in NC to keep any type of wildlife except to rehab for release. So now I know for sure I'm a lawbreaker! But this also means me & Agee will have to make it up as we go along on treating her.Kinda dumb ya ask me! Oh, I was also told with her being crippled the best thing I could do for her is have her put to sleep! I politly (really) told her that wasn't necessary....she sleeps enough as it is! I was almost proud of myself for keeping my cool. Just another example of a dumb law.
Still no rain or snow,...colder but not as cold as predicted. But if ther're right it's supposed to get down to 21 tonite. If so that would be the coldest yet here this winter.
Well gotta run & do some of that inside stuff, the bill figuring part, always fun giving your money away. I try to pretend it's for charity, but don't help much!! Sides' I don't think I'm really that charitable!

**Sneaks in through the back door**

    BOO!
Oh my gosh, did I scare you?! Heh heh.

Hello--just thought I'd throw you for a loop (or maybe a fruitloop!) and say hi after months and months. I may come back regularly again, not sure ... I never can tell what I'll do. [IMG]

Missed a lot of you people, though. [IMG]

    Morning all:

Sue, watch yourself there. Skin cancer, though the most easily taken care of cancer is also the most deadly if not discovered or taken care of quickly. My mother has had several skin cancer "spots" removed. I am praying for you.

Well, it's 25 degrees here, and the snow and ice have covered us up. I don't believe we're going to be going anywhere today. The skies have cleared and the snow has finally stopped, but the roads are hazardous. We live in such a rural area they don't bother to salt the roads. Some have tried to venture out but have come back in just a few seconds.

We're supposed to get more of this stuff on Sunday evening into Monday afternoon. I don't know if Viv will be able to go to work or not. I know our car, the deck and the driveway had about 1/4-1/2" of ice on them.

Well, I hope y'all have a wonderful day.

    Bro. T

Hey margowriter! You don't have to sneak around back. The guard squirrel gets a little nervous. Glad to see you're still around.

5 degrees and a light snow. Perfect weather for the SS sledding party. Grilling burgers with mittens on is an interesting experience.

Bro. Jim, we know it too what cold and snow is. Recently we had over two feet of the white stuff, and tonight it will go down to 11°F (with the windshield factor feeling like -8°F).

By the way Bro. Jim, I have seen a picture on the Net, resembling you to a "T." He looks like an older self of you. Quite mature of a gentlemen, I say. As a matter of fact, if it wasn't for the hat, you could be tween brothers. Any relations? [IMG] [IMG]

Good night all, and have a blessed Lord's day tomorrow! [IMG]

Figured I'd get in before the doors are locked. BH said I could use her chair tonite. She still ain't acting so perky, but I have a feeling it isn't sickness as much as being frightened. I'll know in a day or two. If I'm right (which I actually hope I'm not) I'll explain then.
Figured since I'll proably be up awhile I'd set & keep watch! Just hope she gave me enough cotton!! Supposed to be cold here tonite.
Agee came home from work not feeling too good. She's been in bed since 4:00, but I'm sure she'll be up & ready to go in the morning..no matter how she feels, thats my wife. If anyone does read this fore closing time please say a prayer for her. Appreciate it.
Well guess I'll start up the rocker & try it out...see yuns' on the morrow!!

    Good morning all,

I didn't make it in before the doors closed last night and I didn't think I was going to make it in today!

I am having a relapse of the flu and I think hubby is coming down with strep throat. We may both visit the doctor tomorrow...

HAGD all! Stay warm, safe, and healthy!

    Sue,

So glad to see you made it back!

Don't know why some people's pc's don't allow them access back on the forum. By the looks of the posts so far today, I think many are having trouble getting back on.

Praying you and your hubby get to feeling better.

    Afternoon all:

Vivian and I didn't get to go to church this morning. The roads here in our area are still pretty iced over, and we're supposed to get more of the stuff tonight. YUK! Hope it doesn't make it where Viv can't go to work, but, if it does, that'll be fine, too. The Lord knows what we have need of.

Please pray for us as we search for where the Lord would have us to serve. We know that He wants us to move on from where we are. We wanted to visit a church in Shelbyville, but we couldn't. We've been asked to come back to a church in Murfreesboro, so maybe the Lord is opening the door there for some kind of service while recovering from the "adventures" in this church and the previous one.
Again, though, the Lord knows what we need.

It's only 27 here right now and the sky is sunny. But, I feel that other stuff coming in. I really would like to see it miss us and go to Kentucky or Alabama! ;)

    Y'all have a wonderful day!

    T

We were one of the few churches in town to have services this morning and we had a good service. We got about 2 inches of snow yesterday and it has been snowing now for about the last 2-3 hours, and it looks like we may get another 2-3 inches. We have canceled our evening services.

Only 5 inches of snow and it stops everything? What would you do if you got snow?

It is freezing cold here...Earlier exposed skin would freeze in 3 minutes. It tightens the skin and helps me look younger. I should take a new photo when that happens......

    Cheers,

    Jim

I had to postpone it on account of the cold. I wonder if stretching in bed would do the job as well............

    Cheers,

    Jim
