I have been praying for Jon Magee and Wisdom Seeker because of their willingness to fight evil when it rears it's ugly head here on this board. God bless you both. May the good Lord lead you, keep you and protect you.

I am thankful for OliveBranch. Even though we disagree at times, she reminds me of the following verse:

Who is that Teresa? Is she a member of this board? (was that too nosey?) I think we should praise those worthy to be praised.

I'm thankful for Olive Branch for heaping coals. And for Thankful for edifying and trying to be a calming effect on the board and for praying. And for Jim 1999 for being objective and kind. And for Barnabas for being sweet spirited and humorous. And C.S. Murphy for interjecting humor in his rebuttals. I'm thankful for everyone here, including the ones who sew discord, for even with adversity we can be thankful and grow in the Lord.

I love that verse: Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, Sweet to the soul and health to the bones. Proverbs 16:24 (I KJV'd it, because that's how I know it.) This has been my signature verse for years. (Believe it or not) My other signature verse is "Whithold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. Proverbs 3:27.

You and I am Blessed 16 remind me of the following
verse:

Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him. Deutermonomy 13:4

You two and many, many others on the Board practice this.

 

Betty, every time you say Brother Husband it makes me pause. There is a Husband family in my church...so there really is someone who is called Bro. Husband by me. Weird huh?

Dear gracious heavenly Father. I thank you so much for Bro. Edifyer and his lovely wife Betty who have encouraged me more than they will ever know. I ask you Lord to bless their lives more abundantly than they have blessed mine. Please watch over them and keep them as sweet in spirit and as close to you as they appear to me in my humble human state of not knowing what you know. Thank you Lord for your precious gifts. Please bless everyone here on this board. Keep us close to you and mindful of your presence. All these things I ask Jesus' precious and holy name. Amen.

 

Now I am no longer a moderator, I can be a little more personal. I have enjoyed fellowship with a lot of people throughout the Board. Some stand out more than do others, but each make their own valuable contribution.

I want to thank you all for your witness to the Lord Jesus and His attraction to your lives, and what you have shared with us.

Many carry burdens and we may never hear of them. This shows the importance of dealing with everyone with care, love and the mind of Christ in us. May our Lord continue to work in us and through us that we may all know the richness of His love for us.

Betty: You have humbled me. I would never apply that verse to me. I don't know what I did to deserve your kind words and thoughts; but I want to thank you and all the other posters here for the love, compassion, respect and prayers I have been blessed to receive since I joined the BB.

I just read a thread called "Do you love your neighbor?" that Wisdom Seeker started. What a blessing it was to be so encouraged and uplifted reading that thread.

When I first came here, Wisdom Seeker was under some pretty hot critisim. I've watched her not hold a grudge for any of it, but post in love and humor to even those who seemed so angry with her at the time. What a blessing it is to read someone with that sort of Christ likeness.

She encourages me by her way of bouncing back with a smile on her face. This is an example of amazing grace.

I totally agree with you Charlotte. WS is certainly a forgiving person who shows Christian Love and already has the wisdom she seeks.

 

Do you two know that you both are a blessing to me? Thank you so much. You gladden my heart. I'm not doing anything special...God says to forgive in his word...so I try to do that. That's all.
