I drink a lot of hot tea, Allie. My throat isn't sore but my head is clogged and I'm sneezing... My SKIN hurts so I know it's not allergies. The aspirin is wearing off.

My daughters drink the Celestial Seasonings Wellness Tea Echinacea Complete Care and claim they can really feel a difference. They say it tastes good too. (They use honey, no sugar, as a sweetner)

Well, I love tea and it's so comforting when I'm sick. Diane, hope you feel better soon. Have you tried Advil Cold and Sinus? It's pretty good. Take care.

Our snow is over and the clouds are gone, but it's cold. Should be better tomorrow.

Diane, I'm sorry you are feeling bad. Can't painful skin be a symptom of some allergies? Oh, well, I'm not going to attempt any medical advice over the net.

Do try the tea GrannieGumbo suggested. Since you like tea anyway, it can't hurt. Call your doctor, too.

Add a tablespoon of whiskey and you won't need the Nyquil! [IMG] :D

Seriously Diane, get off your feet for a while and just rest. You've had more than your fair share of colds this year. You and Sue must be trading germs with Tony.

I'm sleepy and would love to go to bed, but I have an emergency customer bringing me a dress to hem for a funeral tomorrow morning! Nothing like waiting till the last minute. The customer she got my name from does the same thing. I really can't complain since I charge extra for rush jobs.

Still I wish she would get here already!

Well I've watched my almost 2 hour new Gaither DVD 2 1/2 times already and I can't wait to get to heaven so I can sing purdy too. Israel Homecoming. Quite different from most of their DVD's but excellent!

It's these KIDS Cindi! All 3 I had today hacked and coughed all over me. Allergies moms will say... I feel pretty yukky and my nose is running to town and back. LOLOL

I've taken my NyQuil so I'll be loopy within 30 mins. I am not to be held responsible for anything I say or do once I get that wicked rum in my system!

Congrats on the shower Sue! We didn't want to say anything but....... whew! ;)

I have very few relatives here and they are not close. I would not feel comfortable taking a shower at their house. :(

But, you're right. I was pretty dirty! [IMG]

I am clean now though and getting ready to climb in my sweet-smelling, line-dried sheets (after sleeping on the couch all week)!

    Pleasant dreams all!

    Good morning all:

I slept GOOD! I slept in until 6:00!

The ONE morning I wanted to be up early and I slept in!

I wanted to pack hubby's lunch early because I had a couple of "surprises" for him and I didn't get up in time! Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Padre, my teachers used to do the same thing! [IMG] Since I was the kid that always followed directions, it was me watching the others.

Scarlett, my yard could use mowing too. Especially the back where there are more weeds than grass. But, it was squishy yesterday, this morning it is downright soggy! Maybe Monday or Tuesday, it will clear off and be dry enough to mow.

PTL! Son is back in school today, migraine free!

Morning all! I slept well too and got right back to sleep after Ty came but our 2 year old grandson decided he wanted to call me at 7:15 so that was a nice surprise.

It's so very cloudy today and is supposed to storm again. I'll be glad when the weather clears so the children can play outside more. [IMG]

I have always wondered. Do people think you're more spiritual if you rise at 5:00 am instead of 8 or something? I don't understand this. As long as you aren't sleeping more than you should, why does it matter so much what time people get up? I mean, 6:00 is sleeping in? Wowza.

Sleeping in is getting up late enough to have wasted half the day.

I am a morning person. I do not HAVE to get up early, my body wakes up and I jump out of bed ready to meet the new day head on.

If I slept until 8:00, I would feel as if half the day were already gone!

Nothing spiritual about it. I love early mornings.

This morning I especially wanted to get up early because I had some April Fools jokes to put in hubby's lunch.

The only reason I didn't wake up at my usual time (between 4-5) is because it is the first good night's sleep I have had all week.
