Its all of the twisted, perverted appearance of sex outside of the bounds of marriage that makes it appear the twin to Sodom--or one of Sodom's suburbs!! The folks of Sodom were not inhospitible--they knew how to fellowship--but their fellowship makes a hog barn look and smell good!! Have you ever been in a hog barn??

I have seen no appearance of sex on the show, and I have watched it several times. Maybe you're thinking of something else.

Women with their cleaveage just about to fall out of their clothing and hanging all over a man sure looks like sex to me. If I did that my husband would think it looked like sex too. And yes I ahve seen the show, watched some of the first one was sick of it.

Babies are made when a husband and wife express their love toward each other. My two children are a picture of how much I love my wife and how much she loves me!

Babies born outside of wedlock--in the eyes of scripture are bastards. Sorry, BrianT--if that offends you--but two people having sex outside of the bonds of marriage is an offense and a perversion to Almighty God.

Blackbird, this is off topic for this thread, but you mentioned about Noah sinning when he got drunk. You might be interested in this lifted from the Bible study above on Genesis 9:

And then comes the drunk incident with Noah. The Bible says he was a man of the soil, which meant he had been a farmer of some kind before. One of the things he did when he got a little established in the new world was plant a vineyard. Within a few years, when the grapes were enough, he harvested them, fermented himself some wine, and got roaring, falling-down passing-out drunk.

Let's take a look at this for a moment. First of all, that was out of character for Noah! He was a righteous man, with whom God was pleased. He knew what the wine was; fermentation is no accident. When grape juice accidently ferments and someone drinks some, the first reaction is to gag and spit it out. Noah never would have gotten past the first sip on an accidental fermentation! So we can presume he knew what he was doing and made some pretty good wine.

So why did he get drunk? If he knew about wine and how to ferment it, and since he was a righteous man, why get drunk?

For those readers who have had a drink before, you may know or remember that alcohol at sea level has a much milder effect that alcohol a mile high. That is because of the difference in air pressure and thus of oxygen.

If the air pressure had been higher before the Flood, then the same amount Noah could have quite safely drunk before the Flood would not have been safe after. This might have been what happened. It would explain why he did not stop when he felt a 'buzz'.

In other words, Noah's drunkenness might have been another indication of a radical change in the earth after the Flood. We never read of one word of criticism regarding that event anywhere in the Bible.

There is another point worth noting. Noah was naked inside his tent. If he had been drinking slowly and gotten warm, he might have taken his clothes off, but he would have discontinued drinking. So it's a reasonable guess that he was already quite warm when he started the wine. This also would make sense after the earth had been Flooded by waters which warmed it. The whole earth must have been warm and steamy.

And so, inside his tent, in private, Noah strips and has some wine. It hits hard and it hits fast and he passes out.

Sister Helen!

Thanks for the information. My post above concerned what Noah's boys did when they entered into their daddy's tent of shame. They would not look upon the shame--thus walking backward with that blanket between their shoulders--eventually covering the shame. I was implying that it is shameful to be entertained with shows that even hint at perversion and sickness of sin. Instead of blocking the shame of Television with blankets--the Blackbird family has a control switch--(listen!!!) "Click!!" The Bachelor is off!! Friends, and 90210, and whatever else gives out the stench of Sodom is off!!

Man, I've been reading many many of your posts all throughout the BB! You've got a head on your shoulders--think man!! Think! Use that noggin' for the glory of Jesus! Don't humbug around--don't be a Liberal with that mind of yours! A Liberal mind is a good mind being wasted! I kinda sorta figured you know were babies come from--but your reply was kinda sorta a sly remark--kinda like a fox who's found a secret passage into the hen house--I know where babies come from--but my remark was suitable for Christian's who are keeping their minds "between the ditches!"

And I have seen the show--thats why my viewer goes "click!!"--and you don't want to tangle with my wife's mind!! Compared to her--I'm liberal!!
