Seems everyone is awfully busy lately!!!

I've been busy cutting out felt leaves for VBS. We're doing a jungle theme this year, and I think my pastor hates me, because not only did he give me 1st and 2nd grade, he gave me the biggest room (other than the basement and auditorium) to decorate!!!

Anyone wanna help?

I've also been working on a new series of SS lessons, for after I finish my current series on the epistles.

The new one will be "Why We Believe (Insert belief here)"

The the one I'm working on now is "Why We Believe the Rapture". The next one I'm gonna do is "Why We Believe Jesus is the prophesied Messiah".. that one should take awhile, so I'm glad I'm still teaching from Romans!!!

Audzy, we could do with some rain over here garden needs watering and the water butts need fillin'

My wife's stepmom is now younger than her oldest son (if you believe the age she says she is ). I wonder how that happened.

She told him that he couldn't get any older because that would make her have to be older as well.

I will just have a Dr. Pepper and a couple Excederin or allgery medicine. This rain moving through has given me a headache. Or maybe I am just tired of work and need to go home.

Hey this post is #777 for me!

 

I've been busy today--studied a little bit this morning--preaching AM sermon this coming Sunday titled "The Holy Highway!"--Matthew 7: 13-14

Which reminds me--Sherrie and Sweet Sixteen are the only two lucky ladies who requested me send them a audio of last weeks sermon---the bad news is--the audio didn't turn out! The sound man and I got together and rehearsed and played and recorded in advance--its a new system and we're still trying to play with it to get the kinks out--anyway--the sermon didn't come out--so we're gonna play with it some more and see if it will record like we want it to--so hang in there ladies---it won't be as good as gettin' those wresslin' freaks(oops! I meant hunks! Sorry, Sister!!!!!) Sherrie keeps talkin' about--but those guys probably would have a bad time "entering in at the strait gate"!!!!!!!!

I've visited with one of my church members in the hospital this afternoon--remember Johnny in your prayers--he's about 60 years old and they can't figure out what's wrong with him---some sort of mental block there like Amnesia or something--and his wife, Geraldine.

On my way back home from Jackson I stopped by Sears and bought me a brand spankin' new garden tiller--I've got to go and assemble it as soon as I get through postin' here--the little lady clerk says that all I have to assemble is the handle bars and a few other odd and ends---she said it shouldn't be much trouble--but I got her phone number in case I need to be "coached through it!" So that's where I'll be until about dark tonight! Out workin' in the little truck patch! The tiller should enhance the performance of my bigger International tractor--both of which I will use until the rapture--then after that--whoever wants um can have um--!!!

Sherrie, you feel better?? On my way home from Jackson I stopped by the store and got a coke and a big bag of pork skins---don't try doin' what I do with your tummy upset like it is!!!!

Hello, Sheila and Audrey! I've noticed ya'll standing over by the cash register lookin' like Blackbird has a "fist full of dollars" he wants to throw ya'lls way!! Are ya'll still talkin' to me?? Ya'll ain't mad at me or nothin'??

Speakin' of being mad--I haven't posted in the tithin' forum yet--I'll mosey over there later after dark--where nobody will notice that its Blackbird circlein' and postin', circlein' and postin'
