Not good/not bad. Just finished therapy on the feet and seeing such good results.

Called the FDA (I am a test case for this new technology) and got permission to use this on my hands. It is REALLY powerful and so intense I can only stand a couple minutes.

BUT . . praying it will have the same results of stimulating nerves, blood flow, and stopping the pain.

Thanks for asking. I'm turning in now. [IMG]

To what, I'm not sure.

    Good Morning All!

Made it through last evening without getting hit on the head with a ceiling fan OR getting shocked, so am doing fine!

Only a high of 52º today but plenty of sunshine. The rain starts again tomorrow...

Hubby got up right before I did this morning and made coffee, then went back to bed for a few. He did not have the coffee pot where it should have been so when I got up there was coffee EVERYPLACE! All over my counter tops! What a way to start the day!

    §ue (hoping things get better!)

Otherwise, what will they do who are baptized for the dead, if the dead do not rise at all? Why then are they baptized for the dead? 1Cor. 15:29

Now I have seen many explainations for this passage:
That it simply speaks of replacing those that have died. As an army loses soldiers, they replace those that have died with new recruits. I have never been satisfied with that explaination.
That the explaination centers around the word, "They". That is, there was some group of pagans, there in Corinth, who were doing this. Okay, church of Corinth, why do they do that if the dead are not raised, as you are saying?
But, IMHO, the best one centers on the word, "For." The thought being: If the dead rise not at all, then the Lord Jesus is not risen either. "For" can not only mean in place of, or instead of, but also in honor of, or in obedience to. It was the Lord Jesus (Mt. 28:19) that said to go and make disciples and baptize them.
If the Lord Jesus is not risen, why do anything FOR (in obedience to) a dead man? If that were true, that would be a good point.
Thanks be to God, that is not true, we worship a living Savior!

Hello everyone, good to be back. I had two days off and the bride had too much, "Honey-do" for me.
Hoping that everyone has a blessed day!

    I fear "Honey-do". I've been looking at a
backyard that needed some serious Honey-doing.
I broke down and paid 225.00 to have someone
do it. He was my Surrogate Honey doer.
It looks like my whole backyard has
    had it's ears lowered.

Well, Spring is officially supposed to arrive tomorrow!

I certainly hope it's on time. I can hardly wait to 'honey-do' my back yard, side yards, front yard. I love to work outside when the weather is nice (before it gets too hot and humid that is).

    Morning All!

Had a great - but long day yesterday. Bus trip to Lancaster, PA - saw "Behold the Lamb" at the Millennium theatre.

    It was a fantastic production!

Did anyone miss me yesterday? - I probably shouldn't have asked that - might not like the answer!

But I expect that I may not be able to post as much - once I get back to work out in the field - this summer!

Dan - had shakes most of the day - withdrawal you know!

    Morning Bri and Dan!

Bri: Honey-do is a list that we make up for our hubbys to work on when they have a day off so they can't watch TV or post on the BB all day! [IMG]

Dan: Glad you had a good time! Of course I missed you. I won't lie and say I missed your double posts though...

I won't be doing as much posting when warm weather gets here either. I like the outdoors too much!

Have hoar frost all over the car this morning, so will need to start it and let it run for a few minutes before I go to work.

    I took a quick poll
of the lurkers, 8 out of 10 noticed you
    were not around.

It is 63ºF this morning before the sun
came up - here in exciting central Oklahoma.
Time to change to short sleaves.

    Morning Ed!

It is still too cold to change to short "sleaves" yet, but I am anxiously awaiting the time when I can change to short "sleeves". :D

Hello again! Matt wanted to take Michelle out to eat for her birthday today (the b'day was last week), but they do not have their car because they took the train down. So... since Matt drives on his US licence being here only temporarily he is not insured to drive my car. They has no way to get anywhere other than our town where there is no place really nice to eat, Mary and I graciously agreed to drive them to the place where we went for our anniversary dinner. It was a big sacrifice, but what are mom and dad for? I suffered through a Cajun Salmon dinner. Anyone feeling sorry for me yet ;) ?

Good Morning, Good Morning~ The 'spring' sun has risen higher in the sky and is peeking in my bedroom windows an hour too soon for me but I turned my back and went back to sleep!

Lots to do today because I'll be at church tonight and all day tomorrow and Sunday.

Wish I could plan a honey-do list but I've found that any list like that would be a real ohnoIwon't list! Better to begin things myself!

Short sleeve weather here today! It's to hit 75° this afternoon and tomorrow and the sun is SO bright. Maybe I can sneak outside for a little while today.

How do you all stand to have your grandchildren so far away? Mine have not left yet and I am already depressed! They have promised to get a camera for the computer so I can see them when I talk to them.

Well Betty, Our boys both went into the army and were away for 4 years so when Scott had to take a job transfer, he wasn't even married yet. They've moved from Boston to Baltimore since they got married too because of better jobs for his wife. She's got a double masters in finance and business and goes to law school part time. Our daughter and her husband moved right after their first baby was born to Maine for a better job for her husband. I guess since we've never lived near them since the kids were born, we never got used to seeing them often. It is hard tho! We miss first steps, first words, etc.

Jim and I never lived near either of our families. Honestly, I think it's better for newly weds to NOT be near mom and dad. There's no chance of interference and a better chance of growing into your OWN strong family. But that's just based on us and my own opinion. LOL My mother is a super interference every chance she gets! She'd try to tell YOU what to do! LOL

    Morning Diane, Betty, and Liz!

I had planned on doing my shopping as soon as I got off work, but had 3 calls on my cell phone I had to come home and return.

Diane: Your week-end sounds as busy as mine except that mine will go from Sunday through Tuesday! Then, am having more company from Kentucky next week-end!

Betty: It's VERY hard. But, I raised my kids for the Lord and when the Lord called them to another state, there wasn't much I could do. :(

Liz: I am off to Wal-Mart and Aldis!

    TTFN!

Our only little grandbaby Morgann will be leaving to go back to the States with mom and dad to finish raising support at the end of April. We ARE NOT looking forward to that. Lord willing we will get them back here soon!

Good morning everyone! Looks like everyone has had pretty busy days already! I do my own 'honey-do' lists, and give them to my dd! Now, if they get done all in one day is another story! It's just me and her! I hired a neighbor kid to mow my grass, I have 3 lawn mowers, but none of them work! I just don't have much luck with motored things!
Say a prayer for me, I have to have a test done today to check on my kidney funtion (I am diabetic, and the last time I had a check up, I had protein in my urine) I'll let ya'll know!

Boy Howdy from sunny, 58+F (windy 35-50mph) Wyoming. Watching the President here on the anniversary of the Iragi fighting. Positive slant in a negative world.

We leave Wednesday for a week with grandbabies. While we have 3 nearby and watch them grow and change, we have not seen the newborns (Austin in the fall and Natalie in November) since Nov 9. THAT is a long time for change in a newborn!

Cannot imagine the loss that missionaries feel as they watch from 12k miles. Thank God for computers and digital pix, but we all know that's not the same.
