One likes to play in the toilet. If someone leaves the seat up he's in there like a madman splashing water all over the place. When you walk in he's standing on the rim, soaking wet, looking at you with one of those teenager "what?" looks.

Oreo starts his 'wild time' around 9:00 (our bedtime). We go to bed and I shut MY door, he usually runs and attacks his cow a few times, then crawls in bed with Brent and goes to sleep.

He gets up when I do and is ready to snuggle on my lap as soon as I sit down in front of the puter.

Oreo won't drink out of his water bowl, he prefers the running water in the toilet. He never gets wet, just takes his drink and walks away.

Someone told me 'running water' was a black and white cat thing. They all liked it...

I am heading to bed folks. It was very windy and cold today and I don't want to get behind on my rest and get sick again.

    Pleasant dreams all!

LOLOLOL! I can just see that cat!

Dubbs used to insist on running water from my bathroom sink but only after he got older. Patches drinks her water from her bowl and isn't picky about it. Now her food.... the stinkier it is, the better! The cheapest, stinkiest canned food just thrills her! Jim buys all this expensive specialty food and she'll nibble on it.

Hubby's allergic too but he thinks long haired cats don't bother him. He LOVES our Patches! She runs to greet him when he comes home and I'll hear him downstairs baby talking her. Cats are wonderful. [IMG]

    Good night Jennifer and Sue!

Well it's time to take my antibiotic for the sinus infection so I can go to bed. I have little Jack tomorrow too so I'll be tied to this area of the house keeping peace from 8:30 til 1:30 so I'll be bugging you, I mean seeing you!

Night all and May God send His angels to keep you safe all during this night.

    Diane

If I had to choose between a cat and root canal, somebody better call the dentist. Although, I could choose the cat and give him a root canal.

    Good morning all:

Blame TONY - he started with the cat thing this time (page 1)!

It is 19 this morning with an expected high of 39, then back down to 23 tonight. I think the wind has calmed down though and we ARE supposed to have some sunshine today. [IMG]

Praise the Lord the SON is ALWAYS shining! [IMG]

Business as usual today. Twice at the corner, the paper route, and home schooling. ;)

    Cruising,

Margo started it! I just stopped by to see pictures of Tater's new choppers...

I used to eat at China Buffet too, Dr Bob, until I found out CATSUP there wasn't a condiment, it was a spelling error.

Isn't Upstate NY just a frame of mind?

Hey, now...I couldn't stop myself! Margo started it (though she probably didn't know about us "cat haters"...LOL)

    Morning all:

I got up at 2am, as usual, but I had to go back to bed after Vivian left. Didn't get to sleep very long, though. The developer is out here trying to finish up some work on two of the three houses left. One of our neighbors who's only been here since July has just put his house up for sale by owner. He says the quality of the homes is bad and is moving back to Rutherford County. He's a perfectionist and is making the developer and general contractors lives miserable.

We tried very hard to go to church last night, but I just couldn't do it. So, I sat on the living room floor and separated all the receipts from last year so I could do the taxes today. I hope I can get them done so I can file them online and get our refund back.

It's COLD here! Only 31 right now. Was 22 when I got up at 2am. Supposed to get to 50. Well, I'm a little bushed, so I'm going to try to rest on the sofa.

Gib, Upstate NY isn't just a frame of mind...it's where my daughter lives! Rochester, to be exact! ;)

Morning! So once again there is no winner in the cat lover vs. cat hater battle. Oh well, I know us lovers are always armored and ready for battle.

I am determined to get my Sunday school lesson squared away today. The hardest part is deciding on a fun project to do. We don't have a lot of supplies. I don't think I can handle another week of Bible hangman or Bible pictionary. I need a new game. Help.

    He IS a doll, Margo!

I LOVE the BJU material. That's all I've ever used. I bought Alph-Omega one year to save money and put it on Ebay before we did 10 pages. This past year, we were SO poor that we only bought the student books for Nick. We're finishing up 4th grade by the end of May. Do you write any of the stories in their readers? Nick loves them. Sometimes he'll be assigned to read only 5 or 6 pages but he'll be so 'into' the story that he'll offer to do all the work pages if he can finish it. [IMG]

For real. What age group do you teach chipsgirl?
I always hated dumb games in SS and Bible School. I'm all for revamping the system. [IMG]

Dian, I've only been working here since November. I'm in marketing . . .not my cup of tea, but God's cup of tea for me. For now. [IMG] lol.

Nick sounds like my little sis Phoebe. She used to finish her math books early for fun. She was reading Tolkien out loud and understanding it at age 8 or so (she's 10 now). She scares me .. . I think she's so smart because she has 5 older siblings she's learned from! heh heh.

And you're right. BJ material is the best. Nothin better out there.

Allie, check this page out. You can make your own puzzle using a Bible verse or O.T. words, etc.

Nick's 10, Margo. We adopted him from our daughter who is now 29. She had him the year after high school and was giving him up for adoption so we adopted him. [IMG] He was born on my 44th birthday.
