    Music4Him,
    1) "And he that overcomes, and keeps my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the NATIONS" -- Rev 2:26. The "nations" are here on Earth.

    2) "...and we [they] shall reign on the Earth" -- Rev 5:10.

    3) Isaiah 2:4

    4) Zechariah the entire 14th chapter. "The Lord shall be king over all the Earth..." vs 9.

"...everyone that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles..." vs16

Glad to do it. This is a big part of the future promise to the saints (taking us to heaven at Christ's return as He promised in John 14).

I am one of those post-trib rapture people and sad to say, a lot of post-tribs do not get this part right.

    In Christ,

    Bob

Is Jesus really coming all the way down here, then going back to Heaven?

"And the LORD shall be king over all the Earth..." - Zechariah 14: 9.

"The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our LORD...." - Rev 11: 15.

"And he that overcomes....will I give power over the NATIONS" - Rev 2:26.

"....by your blood you ransomed for God saints from every tribe and language and people and nation; you have made them to be a kingdom and priests serving our God, and they will reign on earth." - Rev 5: 9-10, New Revised Standard Version.

But do Christians go to heaven to receive their reward? Jesus explained it in the Book of Revelation: "And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be" (Rev.22: 12).

When Christ returns from heaven the second time He will bring the reward of the saved with Him!

Though now temporarily reserved in heaven, Jesus will bring the reward of the saints to this earth

Daniel wrote,"And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom UNDER the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him"(Dan.7: 27).

Jesus did not say Christians would inherit their reward IN heaven. Rather, the reward --authority, an office of power in the Kingdom of God -- is being temporarily reserved in heaven because that is where Jesus is.

But it will be brought to the earth, where Jesus will reward His saints, in the Kingdom of God, with positions of rulership and authority over the nations.

    Yes.

    John 14
    See? Easy and obvious.

As 1Thess 4 says we are caught UP in the AIR - to meet Him in the air and from their we are taken to His heavenly kingdom.

Christ says that the meek shall inherit the earth. Rev 21 says that after the millenium (Which is the 1000 years after the Rev 19 second coming) there is a new heaven and new earth created.

The heavenly Jerusalem comes down to earth (really) and God's kingdom is setup on earth.

You have tried to get these into an either-or dicotomy - but scripture presents it as both-and.

Yes We are taken UP in the air to heaven to be with Christ and enjoy our heavenly reward (For great is your reward in heaven) - but then after the 1000 years - the Heavenly Jerusalem comes down to earth.

    Both-and.

    In Christ,

    Bob

The BOLDED WORDS are not in the Bible.

1Thess 4 -- "...and so shall we ever be with the LORD" are in the Bible.

The question is, Where is the Lord Jesus going when we all meet in the air, to be with Him forever.

IMO, The Bible indicates that the LORD will come here and stay here -- on Earth, and rule from Jerusalem with the Saints (Isaiah 2 / Zechariah 14).

Satan wanted heaven. He wanted to go to heaven and usurp God's throne. Satan was rebuffed and rejected for his attempts.

Now he has deceived us into thinking we are going to heaven, that heaven is our destination.

Don't be deceived by satan and his ministers.

"And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom UNDER THE WHOLE HEAVEN, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom...." - Daniel 7:27.

The saints will "reign on the earth" - Rev 5: 10.

We will be given "power over THE NATIONS" - Rev 2:26.
