    Gib,

I find it hard to believe that there are any angry people in Georgia.

I find it harder to believe that there are any angry people at Walmart.

All God's people shop at Walmart!!! :D

Post # 1300 - but Gib is way ahead of me now.

Angry Georgians cover themselves with that sweet southern charm. But, when they get to Walmart, the gloves come off. [IMG]

Gib and Dan--I just realized somethin'---you guys have a postin' contest goin' on, don't 'cha!

Ole Blackbird has been on the board for a long time and I ain't got but 1800 and somethin'--findin' it a "long haul" to 2000----sorta like 5th grade--from lunch to the 3 o'clock bell!!! You're at your desk thinkin', "When will those buses get here???!!"

How come our threads in the Coffee shop don't last but a few clicks and we're on another page--but you can go to the Catholic pages and they scroll on and on and on on the same page??

    Just wondering!

Blackbird, this is no mistery. It is because each and every page on the BB is designed to contain no more and no less than 15 posts. Regardless of the length of the post (like on the Catholic threads), it is only 15 posts per page. Go and count them! [IMG]

B-Bird, there was what seemed to be some friendly competiton, but it was all in fun [IMG] It's like when you break 1000 posts your not a rookie anymore. But compared to Gina, Sherrie and Dr. Bob, we'll always be the gnats on the frog.

    Evening All!

Grandson and hubby went fishing, came home with some story about a big fish getting away! They didn't catch anything though.

I got 6 windows trimmed outside today. It got too hot so I came in, turned on the A/C and relaxed. Ahhh, it's SO much easier to breathe in here!

I have to feed the frowning fishermen. I will stop in later to say good night.

    Sue

I am doing good, just tired from painting today, my fine feathered friend! I haven't gotten your preachin' tape yet. I am anxious to hear it!

We are ready for church. Grandson and hubby got their ears trimmed back today at the Barber Shop. It cost $18.50!!!!! I am going to get some clippers and learn how to cut hair! I will just buy a bowl to fit hubby's head and go for it. [IMG]

They both took their baths tonight 'cause on Sunday morning...the bathroom is MINE. :D

I appreciate your prayers friend. I will be praying the Holy Spirit enters into your service mightily. What are you preaching on tomorrow?

Oh Sue, if you try cutting their heads with a bowl, will you let us see pictures of the result? ;) :D Kidding! I was just thinking of this time when my dad wanted his head shaved bald, but wanted to do it at home. Granny was afraid she'd cut him. I said "Let me try!" His answer was NOOOOOOO. {I think he remembered my past cooking experiances, cleaning experiances, including serveal broken church vaccums in one day, the fact that my hands shake when I'm nervous, the fact I have no balance, and that I don't see well, and some other things I've broken including a very expensive church copier! And my all around denseness.} "Daddy, don't you trust me?" I asked. Without even flinching, he said "Nope." Well I kept on asking. He finaly said yes...um, he should have stayed with his first decision. I've never heard, such, um "colerful" language from him in my life!
Although I'd like to learn to cut hair..."OH Daddy! need a shave?" Hmm, now were did he get to?!
    "DAD!!!!"..... :D [IMG]

You sound like me! I will really not need to use a bowl, hubby doesn't have that much hair left. His head kind of looks like these smilies [IMG] But, I could NOT believe how the prices went up just in the last few months!

I've heard of gas wars and pizza wars, maybe we are having a hair war.

Oh so you read that post huh, Sue. Yeah, that side of the family isn't partial to me...and they never even allowed themselves to know me. My great grandparents and aunt on that side were the only ones who welcomed me. My grandpa got saved four days before he died, and at the funeral, I was not spoken to...except by one lady, who kept calling me "Dawn" {my mom's name} and berating me for my mom's mistakes. Gotta love that huh? Specialy since at the time I hadn't seen my mom since I was eight.
I'm one of those people that loves to hug, and I thought my grandpa on that side would welcome me, since he'd never before seen me. {Or knew about me.} NOT SO! I was only 12 at the time, and he pushed me away, and refused to speak to me. I didn't even get the chance to tell him my name! Really weird. I don't know if they all thought I was my mom, or they just plain didn't want any thing to do with the child my family never planned. I hope they only thought I was my mom, {everyone says I look just like her now, as she did a t twenty six.} I know she dissapointed them when she married my dad, and then left us all, but it seems after fifteen years they'd forgive. I don't know. It hurts me that they rejected me, but I know my Lord loves me. And my dad's side of the family is just precious. I love my grandpa's brothers and sisters {all ten of em!} and my granny's mom and daughters are some of the kindest you could meet. My own granparents on daddy's side raise me when my mom left. My dad couldn't work and keep a four year old and infant. So They took us. And my dad's girlfriend's family makes us feel like one of them. And my church family, well I'm so close to them I call them "aunt/uncle", "Mom/dad", "granny/papa". I don't think they'll ever fully realize just how much they mean to me.
I asked my preacher once, that since my grandpa on mom's side wouldn't claim me, could I call him grandpa preacher. He almost cried. And I've only seen him cry when he talks about his wife or mother.
    Oh Sue, do you really think you want to have me at a family reunion?! I might scare off your relatives if they thought they were related to me! If I come, can I help cook? ;) {Here's the part were you run svreaming!}
And as for maturity...well I'm afraid it's only that way when it comes to things of the Lord, or things that are really important. Other than that, I'm a certified nut! I'm so crazy that I made one of the sternest teacher at my school die laughing. That's scary! :D
Well if I'm part of the family, can I call you aunt Sue? Or Grandma?

Abby, the Lord is the most important thing in life. You have your priorities straight girl! Don't you think I have a humorous side too? [IMG] I'm always cracking people up around here. Growing old is a part of life...growing UP is an option. [IMG]

My family would all welcome you and, yes, you can call me Grandma. I have three grandchildren older than you. I would be honored!!!

I have to get Grandson out of the bathtub, he is getting wrinkled. :D I am heading for bed so I can be fresh for church tomorrow. Night Abby. Pleasant dreams.

Okay! When's the bus leave? Our family reunion has dwindled down to nothing. The patriarchs have all come and gone and no one else to lead the family. No one really interested either.
