Didn't have any problem reading it (actually I think I've just gotten used to too much bad spelling on the BB), but writing it is a whole nuther issue!

This is really amazing. I hate misspelling, but had absolutely no problem reading it.

Reminds me of a study I saw years ago which said that we learn to read a large percentage of our words by their outline shape rather than by the individual letters but they didn't have as good of a demonstration as this one. I didn't "get" the title at first but had no problem with the sentenses.

Cool (I mixed up the middle letters) [IMG]

    Doc Bob:

After I deciphered the title, I realized it was gonna prob'ly be on the same topic I'd seen on another forum. As soon as I clicked on it, I noticed I could read your post just as well as ordinary English, except for one word in the whole post. That is so neat! I sent friends an e-mail written like that telling them about the study yesterday or the day before. One already replied back how cool it was to be able to read it so quickly. Peachy keen-o! It sounds like an experiment in whole language. ;) Maybe we can get some educrat to start it in the public schools and call it "creative spelling," right up there with creative writing. :D

My wife is an editor. If I spelled like that I'd never hear the end of it!

(BTW--I had no problem reading it)
