To those that have the Nelson NKJV Study Bible a question .... .

    In this Bible are there whats called "Focus Notes" The first one is on Genesis 12:3 .The note is called .Israel's Calling .

    I have the Nelson's NKJV Study Bible {Large Print}, and the "Word Focus" articles are about words that are linked to Strong's.

    When I looked up Genesis 12:3 the Word Focus was about "Land". I couldn't find one on Israel's Calling.

    The reason i ask is .I have a Nelson Wesley NKJ Study Bible .I kind of think its a NKJ Study Bible with notes added by Wesley along with the regular notes of the NKJ Study Bible . ! In

    Genesis 1:14-15 does the note say this .

    for signs :the lights were to benifit man by giving regular to the seasons ,days and years .

    Thats the exact words my Study Bible says I wonder if your does to ?Thank you ...

    Mine also had the Focus Note on "land" and not Israel's calling. Must be a newer or older version than what I have.

    I go to take my Bible to the Christian Book store and compare them both .

    As far as I know, Nelson's Wesley Study Bible is an older version that is now out of print, and no longer available.

    In the Nelson NKJV Study Bible there are over 350 word focus notes. In Genesis 12:1 the word land is used. On the next page is a word focus section that deals with the word "land", other scriptures that the word is used in, and a breakdown of the context of the word. It also gives the strong concordance #776, and the Hebrew translation for "land"- 'errets.
