I do not believe this is so. I was born and raised Catholic and was Catholic for 31 years of my life. But I now am an Idependent, Fundamental Baptist. God knew before he even made this earth who would be saved and who would not. So if you were born into Muslim and if God had His plan for you to be saved, no matter what you do you would not remain Muslim.I was born a Baptist and will die a Baptist. I would be methodist if I had been born and raised as one. If I had been born in Iraq, I would have been Muslim and so would you.
You're not from Missouri, are you? One thing that makes me a Baptist is the fact that I believe in believer's baptism by immersion as the first step of obedience to Christ after salvation. This is perhaps not a distinctive, however.Originally posted by Elk:
