I see Jerry Falwell having ads for this school. It sounds like it has reasonable tuition and has a better reputation academicly then other distance ed schools. Also they say that up to 24 credits can be transfered to LU though I doubt I would go there cause of the expense. Do you think this is a good idea and preferable over Andersonville or Slidell?

Yes. You will get a great deal out of the credible non-degree program at Liberty.

I don't know anything about Andersonville, but I would guess that the level of education you receive from Liberty would far surpass Slidell. But, that is just my opinion.

I would not recommend Andersonville or Slidell.

I think that any correspondence study is much the same. You get out of it what you are prepared to put into it; regulated self-study.

    Cheers,

    Jim

PS. I take a course each year from somewhere just to keep me in the study mood. I neither need nor want credits for anything.

==LHBI does not offer a degree, but a certificate. However it would certainly still be better than Andersonville or Slidell. At least a major University (Liberty) will accept some credits from LHBI.

Btw, Liberty offers Associate and Bachelor degrees through distance learning. See this page.

As for price, there is financial aide (etc) that is offered to students. As one who has a MA from Liberty, I highly recommend that school. It is well worth the price.

Also, Southern Seminary is now offering an AA via some form of distance learning. See this page for information.

There is also Luther Rice. They offer a Bachelors degree online. www.lrs.edu

There is also Southern Evangelical Seminary. They offer a Bachelors program. See this page. .

God bless you in your future studies.

    Martin.
