    Why is it so important to have a LABEL e.g. Presbyterian/Baptist/Anglican etc. I attended an Evangelical church for many years, but my husband showed no desire to attend with me, whilst at that church, I was baptised. After a further 6 months or so , my husband started to show an interest in attending a place of worship, but not the one that I attended, it is a Presbyterian chapel. I was greatly encouraged that he wanted to go to meetings, and so I now attend with him to this place. I feel a bit out of place, as I am used to tithing from my income, and it is not done at this place, also I am regarded as somewhat of an oddity, as they regard infant baptism as "sufficient". Jesus Christ told us to repent and be baptised, why do these people not understand that when you are a baby, you are TAKEN to be christened, but when you hear the word, you TAKE YOURSELF to be baptised.

    Hi Gwyneth,I changed from being just someone who believed in God to born again 5years ago,a christian friend at work introduced me to his church a small charasmatic church,bit of a SHOCK from church of England,but we have stayed there not wonting to church hop,but sometimes we go to our local baptist church,if i work sunday morning.
    I was baptised (my wife and I)4years ago in our local swimming baths my late mother refused to go because i had :been done:before,(chrisand)but we were baptised because it was OUR choice,the old life has gone,I think we make our walk with God to complecated we got to church to worship God I havent got a label other tha being called a christian,a follower of Jesus.
    If you speak in tongues fall on the floor,humble yourself on your kness,all i know is that God loves us and i have a lot to be thankfull for,
