Bring them In!

While I understand the phrase "soulwinning" it is God (Holy Spirit) who moves in the hearts of people.

The best method (?) is same one Jesus used. One on one and present the facts in a non threatening way. When one comes face to face with their sin; it is overwhelming enough; we don't need to brow beat them or get them to make a decision. Let the scripture speak for itself and all we are required to do is present the Gospel (obedience).

Some come to Christ on the first encounter; but most folks who accept the Lord Jesus have had salvation presented to them more then once. Don't be afraid of being the one who breaks up the ground... someone behind you may lead in the prayer etc... but you have done what God has ask you to do; so rejoice in the fact that you were obedient !!

 

Why look for THE effective way, just trust and obey! What he say is ....Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.... not look for THE most effective way. The ways to do it are state in the bible. Don´t look for a way to avoid some mentioned in the bible, and that Jesus used also.

I believe all of them that are state in the bible are effective, some of them many not look effective to us but ARE. We cannot see and the effect in its totally but The Lord can. And if they weren´t effective why did he used them Himself?

In heaven we will know the result of all the ways of spreading the gospel.
