Tom, I'm next to apologize, I went offline for a while and am just seeing your message. Your right about what God is doing at MC, It's hard to imagine how far they have come since i was there in the 80s. We Did go ahead with the name change, to Watch-Tower Baptist Church. I take recent events as positive affirmation. We were getting nowhere with finding suitable land to build on. After the vote to change the name, i approached a real estate dealer about a parcial, $35,000 two days later he called and donated the entire 4 acres. Praise the Lord!! After the first of the year I'm going to get up to MC and see what is going on that our folks can be of help with.

In case you didn't notice in my profile or put the two together, the church of which I ask about a name change "watchtower" is the Viola Baptist Church, just less than a mile from Mid-Continent where I graduated and You served.
