God hardens hearts that He claims would otherwise believe. Is this total depravity?

Once again, not a single Calvinist has the integrity to even address 1 Corinthians 3:1. Paul spoke to new immature Christians as he spoke to unregenerates using spiritual milk. They deny this truth as if they cannot read. It would be laughable if it weren't so sad.

TULIP - Which of the 5 points to subscribe to?

This is all they have. Ignore 2 Peter 2:1, and make false claims. It would be laughable if it weren't so sad.

    Must Believers Keep the Sabbath?

Scripture says God credits our faith, not He gives us faith which is righteous.

God hardens hearts that He claims would otherwise believe. Is this total depravity?

Did Paul speak to people in their natural state using spiritual milk? Yes. 1 Corinthians 3:1

TULIP - Which of the 5 points to subscribe to?

Endless change of subject posts, addressing my supposed bad behavior rather then the topic. Every saved person was ransomed. That is not the issue. 2 Peter 2:1 says someone bought by the Lord was heading for destruction. This is what is being denied.

God hardens hearts that He claims would otherwise believe. Is this total depravity?

False teachers twist this passage and falsely claim it says no one ever understands, no one ever seeks out God, we always turn aside from the will of God, and we never actually do good. This false claim is absurd on its face. People sometimes will to be saved, Romans 9:16. People sometimes...

    A Perfect Righteousness

More denial that your claims are based on mistaken translation choices.

TULIP - Which of the 5 points to subscribe to?

More nonsense, more reading into scripture what ever the false doctrine requires. Everyone saved was ransomed. What you deny is everyone not saved was also ransomed, 2 Peter 2:1.

God hardens hearts that He claims would otherwise believe. Is this total depravity?

Total denial of scripture. This is all they have, folks. They say no lost person is able to seek God, scripture provides verse after verse showing the do.

TULIP - Which of the 5 points to subscribe to?

I answered your question but you ignored my answer. Looks like we will not be able to discuss scripture. Obviously I do not believe in a salvation sustained by works. But I do believe everyone saved does persevere because they are kept. Preservation of the Saints is sound doctrine, as Christ...

    A Perfect Righteousness

Revelations 13:8 NASB All who live on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been ]written since the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been slaughtered. Notice that Revelation 13:8 does not say nor suggest Christ was slain...

TULIP - Which of the 5 points to subscribe to?

Why would you ask if I believe in the need to sustain salvation by works? Are you going to address my stated positions, of simply address other areas. 1) I said I believe Christ died as a ransom for all, those to be saved and those never to be saved, 2 Peter 2:1. Do you agree? 2) I said I...

God hardens hearts that He claims would otherwise believe. Is this total depravity?

More nonsense, more citing non-germane verbiage. Romans 9:16 says our salvation does not depend upon willing or working to be saved. This poster says God's word is wrong as the lost are claimed to be unable to will or to work to be saved. Did the rich young ruler seek eternal life? Of...

God hardens hearts that He claims would otherwise believe. Is this total depravity?

Petty person attack, completely false. This is all they have, folks.

    His People He foreknew !

Yet another off topic post addressing me rather than addressing the well studied view posted. This is all they have, folks.

    Must Believers Keep the Sabbath?

Must believers kept the Sabbath as required by the Old Covenant? Nope. But the term can also be used in the New Covenant sense. we are to make every effort to follow Christ, who preached, and taught and healed and did good on the Lord's Day of Rest, while at the same time make every effort to...

    A Perfect Righteousness

Is the poster claiming Jesus was wrong about the existence of Abraham's bosom during the Old Covenant, or just that under the New Covenant, since when transferred (set apart or sanctified) into Christ, the individuals are now made perfect, Hebrews 10:14, and therefore go directly to heaven where...

    A Perfect Righteousness

Hebrews 10:14 NASB For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified. Hebrews 12:23-22-23 NASB But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of Angels, to the general assembly and church of the...

    A Perfect Righteousness

Who knows the purpose of this post? Is the poster claiming Jesus was wrong about the existence of Abraham's bosom during the Old Covenant, or just that under the New Covenant, since when transferred (set apart or sanctified) into Christ, the individuals are now made perfect, Hebrews 10:4, and...
