    Whose Spirit?

My wonderful KJV also capitalizes Spirit, and I agree He was led by the Holy Spirit. In 3:16-17 we have Christ being baptized, The Holy Spirit descending, and the Father speaking. The Trinity!

    Justification/ Man-Made Laws

And God said the righteous man can turn from it, and die in his sins. We agree on almost all the doctrines found in Scripture, EG, Let's not let this come between us. I totally agree we have eternal security, as long as we exhibit faith to the end.

    Justification/ Man-Made Laws

Well EG, what got you saved is what keeps you saved, that's our faith in the finished work of Christ. That can be lost, God Himself said so, if you will accept what He has said. Of course you can believe whatever you like. Ezekiel 18:21-24 "But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that...

    Dying Spiritually

We don't ;have to see these things identically, it matters but we don't have to push it. There will be no unity on these boards, you know that as well as I. No need for us to push it and create a division. But at the same time state what we believe. LOL, you're picking a fight, Brother...

    Justification/ Man-Made Laws

Ok, I'm sorry but we disagree. Paul expresses that he marvels they have so soon removed themselves from Him unto another Gospel. They can't remove themselves from something they were never a part of. But I say again, let every man decide for himself, let your heart be your guide.

    Justification/ Man-Made Laws

Paul plainly said, "You have fallen from Grace." Let us all decide for ourselves what he meant. No need to argue among ourselves, the OP speaks for itself.

    Justification/ Man-Made Laws

When the apostle Paul wrote his epistle to the Galatian Church, we see a very angry Paul. He said things that would get our accounts deleted on BB, and he said them by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Of course that doesn't mean we have the permission to say these things to one another. His...

    Dying Spiritually

I agree with you've said here, Van. We are spiritually dead until by grace through faith we become spiritually alive. The way I see spiritual death is that obviously God created man's soul to live forever it cannot actually die as in ceasing to exist. Man that is spiritually dead has hope in...

Being Atemporal, What Did God Know Before Creation?

God does not always get His way with man. It's obvious God has given man free will to choose his own way. Man does have the final say as to whether he will obey God, that's why there will be a judgement against disobedient man in the end.

Short Summary of the Flood Event

Well then, we disagree on who the "sons of God" are in Gen. 6:2. This has been argued for centuries, and it seems we disagree. Gen. 6:2-5 "That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. And the Lord said, My spirit shall...

Short Summary of the Flood Event

There was a great sin committed in those days that prompted the flood. That sin was committed by the fallen angels that Peter and Paul said were chained and reserved in Hell until judgment. 2 Peter 2:4-5 "For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered...

    Should Jimmy Kimmel fully apologize?

Ok, I must be mistaken in believing the rhetoric coming from the left wing media and politicians is inciting violence to an already violent prone society.

Helpful Distinctions Between Covenant Theology and Dispensationalism

Yes, I agree that was Paul's battle for the most part. We don't argue that much anymore, that is well understood for the most part. I believe what we argue now was not an argument in Paul's day, what we scuffle with was well understood in Paul's day. It looks as though the problems have...

Helpful Distinctions Between Covenant Theology and Dispensationalism

@Zaatar71 Have you noticed in Paul's epistles that he would remain calm when correcting doctrine in the Churches, but when that doctrine in any way effected salvation you can literally feel the anger in his words?

Helpful Distinctions Between Covenant Theology and Dispensationalism

I agree, the sooner you come around to my way of thinking we can get started on that, lol. See how that goes? Thank God He doesn't require correct doctrine, but repentance and faith.

Helpful Distinctions Between Covenant Theology and Dispensationalism

I'm a strong believer in that you can be wrong on all the doctrines we discuss here, but if you get the foundation of all doctrine right (Jesus Christ) through faith and repentance, you have met the requirement God demands for salvation. I admit I have a serious problem with the end results of...

Helpful Distinctions Between Covenant Theology and Dispensationalism

Oh, I see! That's a good move! I have several local Pentecostal friends that like to dispute the area of Dis. concerning tongues.

Helpful Distinctions Between Covenant Theology and Dispensationalism

I've never been a Calvinist, never agreed with the end result of it. I'm really one of those who can't see it in Scripture, it's just not there, imho.

Helpful Distinctions Between Covenant Theology and Dispensationalism

Have you been following the Dispensationalism thread that @Salty mistakenly placed in the "Other Christian Denominations forum? If so, what do you think?

    Calvinists

LOL, I like the added touch, "blah, blah, blah," that will draw 'em in for conversation.
