    The True Gospel Preacher

For example let's use John 3:16 as a simple proof of our disagreement on redemption. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." We will disagree who the "whosoever" are. God has commanded all...

    The True Gospel Preacher

The specifics of how that redemption works is found in certain locations of the Bible. We totally disagree on those specifics.

    The True Gospel Preacher

There are specifics in context, all of the "ENTIRE Bible" does not give the specifics of any given subject. I will agree in the big picture that the entire Bible is in context with redemption through Jesus Christ, from Genesis-Revelation.

    The True Gospel Preacher

That's one of my favorite quotes from Paul. What you must understand is that Scripture follows a pattern of context. You read before a chosen verse to find the beginning of the context, maybe a few verses or maybe a few chapters. then you read after the chosen verse to find the conclusion to...

    The True Gospel Preacher

K is very confused and always posts Scripture out of context because he doesn't know any better!
  6. C

    The True Gospel Preacher

No, Ken, it's your false Calvinist theology that causes you to believe such nonsense. You're posting Scripture that you know is out of context with what we're discussing. Of course that's all you can do, you have no other way!

    The True Gospel Preacher

When are you going to get it through your head, Ken, that God doesn't always get His way with fallen man? You and I do something almost every day that was not determined by God nor is His will for us to do. Why do you suppose we are able to do that?
  8. C

    The True Gospel Preacher

That is true with some, but there are others that will say, "Lord, Lord, and I will say depart from me I never knew you." There are many reasons why man does not follow the specific plan God predestined for us.
  9. C

    The True Gospel Preacher

Oh, but we do have a choice, that's why most will be eternally separated from God. They will in some way fail to follow God's plan of redemption.

Remission of sins is Salvation !

So you're not a true Calvinist?
  11. C

    The True Gospel Preacher

That is a sad misunderstanding of free will.

    LOL, welcome to the boards!

    The True Gospel Preacher

John Gill doesn't believe all men everywhere is all men everywhere. He leaves much to be imagined. By his theology God demands man to repent but doesn't give all men everywhere the opportunity to repent.
  14. C

    The True Gospel Preacher

I'm afraid it's your theology that paints God as unjust toward man. Acts 17:30 "And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:" Does your theology match God's command?
  15. C

    The True Gospel Preacher

I can hear echoes from Hell, "you never gave us a chance." But thank God there are no such echoes. God is totally justified by mans free will and the mandate of His Law.
  16. C

    The True Gospel Preacher

And your point with all this misinterpreted Scripture?
  17. C

    The True Gospel Preacher

You keep believing that Z. Your accusations against God will be dealt with!
  18. C

    The True Gospel Preacher

Typical 5 pointer response. the fact remains that your theory places God as the one who chooses to send the majority to Hell without any chance at all to be saved.
  19. C

    The True Gospel Preacher

God wants all men everywhere to repent and be saved. He predestined a specific plan for man in order for that to take place. But we know all men will not be saved, and this is where God's Law takes over.

    The True Gospel Preacher

Calvinism is a theory and theorizes that if God chose some to be saved, then the rest are chosen to perish. Wouldn't you agree it's ridiculous given the many Scriptures that speak otherwise?
