How 2 Cor 5:19 teaches limited atonement !

Jesus prayer indicates limited atonement ! Jn 17:9 9I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. 10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. Now why did Christ refuse to pray for everyone ? Because all...

    Justified from all things

If one comes to believe in Jesus, the True Jesus, it means they by Him have already been justified from all things ! See believing in Jesus name is the consequence of His Death alone for you, it hath justified you before God's Holy Law and Justice.

    Justified from all things

Acts 13:39 39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses. If one comes to believe in Jesus, the True Jesus, it means they by Him have already been justified from all things ! See believing in Jesus name is the consequence...

Calvinism and the problem of evil.

Mans will naturally is free only within the parameters of his sinful heart and nature, and so its not free to act from without its nature Eph 2:2-3 2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now...

Yes of course, His Purpose is !

Calvinism and the problem of evil.

Thats your opinion, I see it all related. God obviously determined that people disobey and believe a lie, and then hold them accountable, that they be damned.

Calvinism and the problem of evil.

Does God send some people a strong delusion so they will believe a lie ? 2 Thess 2:11-12 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Calvinism and the problem of evil.

Evil isnt a problem with God, it exists to serve His Purpose ! Isa 45:6-7 6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Lord, and there is none else. 7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord...

How 2 Cor 5:19 teaches limited atonement !

But thats what it means, since He was speaking definitely, and for you or anyone else to go beyond what He specifically stated, is venturing on speculation and not what He said specifically.

    Leaving Calvinism?

So you dont like the sayings of Christ !

    Leaving Calvinism?

@Silverhair Those sayings of Christ are nowadays rejected as Calvinism. Christ Himself taught Total inability Jn 6:44, unconditional election, limited particular atonement for His Sheep Jn 10, the effectual call Jn 12:32 and the preservation of the Sheep unto Glory.

    Leaving Calvinism?

Again the drawing in Jn 6:44 and Jn 12:32 is the effectual power of the Spirit in regeneration. They are brought to Faith in Christ, so anyone who dies in unbelief is excluded.
  15. B

    Leaving Calvinism?

@Silverhair When God draws someone Jn 12:32; Jn 6:44 that's the intervention of His Creative Power in the New Birth, so that person comes willingly being governed by a New Heart towards God.

    Once Saved Always Saved?

    Okay great passage.

    Once Saved Always Saved?

I believe sanctification of the Spirit is regeneration by the Spirit. I dont believe a regenerate person rejects the Gospel, but believes it 2 Thess 2:13 13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to...

    Once Saved Always Saved?

So a unregenerate spiritually dead person can spiritually hear the Gospel with Spiritual understanding ?
