Ok just forgive my ignorance, but if he has taken your deceitful heart and given you a new one, then why would he not talk to you through it?

In some defense of TD Jakes, who I think has had some supernatural experiences, I heard him once say that God will not talk to you through your eyes or your ears, as those are tainted channels. He will talk to you through your heart, in a soft, quiet voice.
