Did Jesus suffer God's wrath instead of us?

Yeah but that's not legal condemnation. Was not Christ responsible for their condemnation in Adam also?
  2. B

Did Jesus suffer God's wrath instead of us?

No such thing as Christ became the means of reconciliation! He actually reconciled them He died for while they were still enemies Rom 5:10

Did Jesus suffer God's wrath instead of us?

Did Jesus suffer God's wrath instead of us?

I don't know what in the world you talking about. You rarely make any sense to me, no disrespect

Did Jesus suffer God's wrath instead of us?

See when we were born dead in sin Christ was already surety and responsible for our condemnation, as soon as it occurred in Adam, God looked to Christ to satisfy Justice for it. Do you believe this?
  7. B

Did Jesus suffer God's wrath instead of us?

And many will believe it because of the everlasting Covenant that's in Scripture

Did Jesus suffer God's wrath instead of us?

Okay so how could the elect be born with their condemnation charged to them since Christ was held responsible for it by compact agreement from eternity past?

    Interpretation

But there's no scripture that says Christ came under bondage you made that up and it's a double standard. So for now on please don't be critical of others who give their interpretation of a scripture, you do the very same thing

    Interpretation

  12. B

    Interpretation

But you have been critical on people who do not use exact wordage and now you're not using the exact words
  13. B

    Interpretation

But I don't see the word bondage that you used earlier

    Divine Justice

Bondage of sin? He came under the wages of sin, death. Rom 6:23 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. He freed the elect from this death, He abolished death 2 Tim 1:10 10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour...

    Divine Justice

Because they were guilty duh. Maybe you need to study what Justice means
  17. B

Did Jesus suffer God's wrath instead of us?

So when did God make Christ a surety in the everlasting covenant of Grace for the sins and condemnation of the elect? When was He responsible for their sins?
  18. B

    Divine Justice

That's because Christ death for them provided the Justice that their guilt deserved. God did not just forgive them apart from Justice being satisfied for them.
  19. B

    Divine Justice

That's not Justice, if guilty Justice must be meted out. God hasn't sacrificed His Justice to just being merciful. He is revealed as A Just God and a Saviour Isa 45:21 That's not Justice, if guilty Justice must be meted out. God hasn't sacrificed His Justice to just being merciful. He is...

    Divine Justice

This supposed that Christ died for every individual , He didn't , He died only for the elect so the non-elect sins remain counted against them, Justice for them is the lake of fire
