God wants all men to be saved

No, this is theological bias, and not what the Bible says. Again I say, WHY would God not be willing that any of the elect are lost, when indeed they CANNOT? This whole verse is nonsense if limited to them.
  2. Saved-By-Grace

God wants all men to be saved

You, nor any other who believe your "theology" has dealt with the FACT, that Luke 22 shows beyond any doubt that Jesus died for Judas, who is not in heaven. Now, show this to be wrong?
  3. Saved-By-Grace

God wants all men to be saved

what rubbish! this is NOT what this passage says, you are twisting Scripture to suite your theology!

    In your Bible perhaps...
  5. Saved-By-Grace

God wants all men to be saved

Joshua 24 is after the fall, and clearly people were asked to CHOOSE, something only possible if they had FREE WILL!
  6. Saved-By-Grace

God wants all men to be saved

What a lame argument! Surely God HATES sin, which is in this world, and yet He does not remove it or destroy the devil, who is the cause of it? Does this make God "powerless" because what He hates He does not remove? NO! You guys have done away with FREE WILL, for all sinners to "CHOOSE this day...

God wants all men to be saved

" That whosoever believeth on him may not perish. It is a remarkable commendation of faith, that it frees us from everlasting destruction. For he intended expressly to state that, though we appear to have been born to death, undoubted deliverance is offered to us by the faith of Christ; and...

YES, otherwise Jesus' words to Judas at the Lord's Supper were untruthful!
  10. Saved-By-Grace

    Corporate Election

In Luke's account of the Lord's Supper, we read the following, "Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you. But behold, the hand of My betrayer is with Me on the table" (22:20-21) The word "you" is in the plural number...

you wish! He also died for Judas!

    Corporate Election

How can the offer for the Gospel to be preached to the entire human race, be sincere, IF, God did not make provision in the Death of Jesus Christ for this entire human race? To make the offer to ALL without exception, it requires that Jesus' Death was also to ALL without exception. You cannot...
  13. Saved-By-Grace

God wants all men to be saved

So, WHY would he tell the elect, who could never be lost, that God did not "will that any of THEM perish"? these words are completely pointless if addressed to the elect! Please explain their use
  14. Saved-By-Grace

    Corporate Election

Yes they did, but this is not what the Holy Bible teaches, nor what John Calvin himself believed! But there are some here who cannot accept the facts of Scripture, that goes against their "pet theology", and they use all means to wriggle out!
  15. Saved-By-Grace

    Corporate Election

Jesus Christ died for the sins for the entire human race, including Judas, and because of this ALL can, should they WILL, come to Christ for salvation, otherwise the "offer to the entire world" would be insincere!
  16. Saved-By-Grace

God wants all men to be saved

No, it is not! It is complete nonsense for Peter to say that "God is unwilling for the elect" not to perish, when they CANNOT! Why say what is not possible? The context is to the "mockers and scoffers", which is included in the correct text with YOU and not US!
  17. Saved-By-Grace

God wants all men to be saved

You still cannot show why would God say that He is "patient" towards the "elect", not "wishing any to perish", when this is something not even possible? What is the point in these words, addressed to the "elect"? The pronoun was changed to "us" at a late date, as the earliest textual evidence...
  18. Saved-By-Grace

God wants all men to be saved

John does not have the Lord's Supper recorded, only the Passover meal. Luke clearly states that Judas was still present when Jesus spoke the words concerning His Death. A fact that John Gill and Matthew Henry admit to!
  19. Saved-By-Grace

    Corporate Election

Is this wrong? "Limited Atonement: Jesus died only for the elect. Though Jesus’ sacrifice was sufficient for all, it was not efficacious for all. Jesus only bore the sins of the elect. Support for this position is drawn from such scriptures as Matt. 26:28 where Jesus died for ‘many'; John...
