    Dispensationalism

"The Old Testament saints were the subjects of the same Everlasting Covenant of Grace, had the same blessed Gospel, and were begotten unto the same Celestial Heritage as the New Testament saints. "From Adam and Eve, and Abel onwards, God has Dealt with sinners in Sovereign Grace, and according...

When did Jesus become the Son of God?

    He never became anything.

When did Jesus become the Son of God?

John said the Word was with God, a separate individual that created the universe and made the Father known to man. What He was before He was manifest in the flesh I don't know. It's one of the mysteries of the Trinity.

When did Jesus become the Son of God?

I think Jesus was always eternally the Son of God, the Logos, the Word of God. Christian orthodoxy maintains that Jesus is the first born of all creation, meaning the foremost, not first thing created in a time series. It has also declared Jesus to be eternally begotten of God the Father. Thus...

    Today, I have "fathered" you?

I think Jesus was always eternally the Son of God, the Logos, the Word of God. As John 5:26 states, “For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself.” In the context of John, “this claim to divine aseity [i.e., life in himself] must refer to the...

    The Bible Agnostic Test.

I and many others believe that Lucifer or Satan's fall is recorded here, and that he, the devil, was the real spiritual power behind the kingdom of Babylon. Babylon also appears prominently again in the book of Revelation as the kingdom of the beast and both are spiritually empowered by Satan...

    The Bible Agnostic Test.

What I meant was that Satan never had a literal body that was buried in verse 11 and no children who needed to be killed to keep them from assuming his throne in verse 21. There is no one who will assume Satan’s position. When he’s cast into the lake of fire, it’s over for him and his ppl. And I...

    The Bible Agnostic Test.

I wonder what color the oxygen is on the planet you live on is? Delusion is some sort of drug. I’m done with this, speaking with cult members gets nowhere and fast. Farewell. I also noticed you avoided my posts showing with all the revision year like the plague. But good bye.

    The Bible Agnostic Test.

Hi SG. Once again, you did not actually read the article before you posted your comments, right? It is prophetic about what will happen to Lucifer, who became Satan. "Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell" And as for your Biblical illiterate statement that Satan never had any children, you...

    Do You believe in God?

Accepting (for no one can really understand) the Trinity is a theological development that should happen after getting born again. We must believe in Jesus Christ (which includes His sacrifice on the cross for our sins and His resurrection from the dead). That is all. Salvation is that simple...

    The "D" Chart

I believe that Abraham "rejoiced" through whatever means, that his redemption would be fulfilled by the promise of God in sending the Messiah.

    The "D" Chart

Van and I were discussing Abraham's justification some time back, he was rightly saying there are several theories as to exactly how Abraham was justified. I have only one theory in how he was justified. Somehow in a dream or a vision or maybe straight out verbally, Abraham was made aware of...

Baptism Doth Also Now Save Us

Not a fact, but a silly, prejudiced error. Here is another snide remark. No quotation, no evidence, no Scriptural evidence, just a rather nasty way of putting forward your unbiblical views. You need to stop it. These things have nothing to do with Augustine's theology. PhD graduates who...

    Genesis 2:19

Helpful Rob, thank you! I’ve always been concerned about liberal influence in the scriptures (and more recently Woke/LBGT), but I’m also concerned the other way with conservative folks trying to “help scripture out” as well. Sometimes resistance and back-lashes dont help in the long run. This...

    The "D" Chart

Please understand that I am not posting for the purpose of arguing. There is much I do not know and if someone makes a scriptural presentation of truth that the Holy Spirit bears witness to, my mind will be changed. I am reminded of Phillip asking the Eunuch if he understood what he was reading...

    The "D" Chart

Every appearance of the LORD God in the OT was the preincarnate Son on behalf of God His Father. Genesis 12:7, And the LORD appeared unto Abram, . . . . Etc. John 1:18, No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. John...

    Born Anew?

It seems you're standing on the fence, Dave. Not sure which way to go. That's what I gather from reading your posts.

    Born Anew?

Outside of brief snippets of the Scriptures called "verses" ( and because of even further details found in His word regarding why some believe and others do not ), I know that He hasn't, Charlie. Details such as those found in Acts 2, Acts 13:48, John 10:26, John 1, John 3, John 6, John 8, John...

    Born Anew?

Outside of Calvinism we know how He gives that saving knowledge to man. "Today if you will hear His voice, harden not your hearts...."

    Born Anew?

We're not told how...only that He does, Charlie. Romans 9 tells us who ( the vessels of mercy afore prepared unto glory ), but not in detail. That knowledge is reserved to Himself. Even so, God's people manifest themselves in who they are, by their belief of His words ( John 8:43-47 ).
