    New Here

They don't stop people from posting there. They just don't want paedobaptists to try and convert baptists. Calvary Chapel is so close to most Baptists, my personal opinion is that you're safe.

IGNORING GREEK VERBS AFFECTS BAPTIST THEOLOGY

Dr. Bob, I have highly respected you over the years. You are consistent, and gracious and you fought the fight and stayed the course. Hence, there is laid up for you a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give you at that day. And my experiences with our brother...

John R Rice "Prayer is asking"; "If it is not asking, it is not prayer in the Bible sense."

I read this book early in my Christian life. I disagree with some of the things he said, but it did push me to actually pray regularly and ask God for specific things.

    Does God Change His Mind?

I agree. God does not change. He does not change his mind. It is not a simple question, and is very nuanced, but I believe that God has exhaustive foreknowledge and he decrees all things that shall ever come to pass. There is absolutely no difference between God knowing everything that will...

IGNORING GREEK VERBS AFFECTS BAPTIST THEOLOGY

Even in larning him, you were gracious, as you always have been. You and I may disagree on a few things, but I have no doubt of Christ being present in you.

IF a Pastor or Teacher knew Biblical Hebrew and Greek well, why still use English translations then?

To be well versed in it and preach to people who don't want it.

IGNORING GREEK VERBS AFFECTS BAPTIST THEOLOGY

He did not invent anything, The most commonly used Greek Syntaz textbook of the day, Daniel Wallace, says almost the exact thing he says here. I read on the aspects he mentions today from Wallace.

Most difficult passage in the Bible?

I was not asking for any input on the several passages that I have struggled with. I was merely asking what other people on this Baptist Board have struggled with. As for the portion that I have highlighted in red, that is quite an accusation. You judge me to be lacking in character and...

Thank you. I hope to enter discussions without being told I am a heretic for believing things that most Baptists believe.
