I'm not arguing God cannot turn evil around for good. It would do you well to reread what i said.

I'm not saying God cannot redeem something evil and use it for good, i obviously agree with that--i'm born again :) I'm just simply expressing the overall thought of the Romans passage in its context. Carry on lol!

    Anti-vax thugs

The Scripture does not say "God works all things out for His good." It says, "God works all things together for the good of those who love him, who are called, according to his purposes." In context he's talking about conforming his children into the image of Christ as the ultimate good of all...

A Fresh Blossom on the TULIP

Mark 10 23 And Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How difficult it will be for those who have wealth to enter the kingdom of God!” 24 And the disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus said to them again, “Children, how difficult it is to enter the kingdom of God! 25 It is easier...

A Fresh Blossom on the TULIP

Ok, how is it difficult? Semantics, man.

A Fresh Blossom on the TULIP

Why did Jesus say it's harder for a rich man to enter into heaven if God gives faith to all he elected?

Acts 2.38 is to Israel not gentiles

9 Parthians, Medes, and Elamites, and residents of Mesopotamia, Judea, and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, 10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya around Cyrene, and visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes,

    The Gospel of the Kingdom

This is nonsense. There is only one Gospel. There is only one Kingdom. There is only one King.

    The Gospel of the Kingdom

    The Glory is in Christ.

    The Gospel of the Kingdom

The Kingdom is God's Rule and Reign of Christ in the hearts of mankind--it's a pretty dynamic reality. It even takes 66 books to explain.

    God's CHOSEN are always SAVED

Yep, my statement summarizes that. IMO.

    God's CHOSEN are always SAVED

No, it says "Chosen to be holy and blameless in His sight--through adoption and sonship through Jesus Christ" Essentially he is saying, "It was predetermined to bring about an eternal Creation through Jesus Christ." I see how God took Israel from law to grace.

    God's CHOSEN are always SAVED

Paul said in Ephesians 2:3 among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind. Romans 4 16 Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be...

Election is not salvific--it's for purpose. God chose Abraham to bring Himself a Family. God chose Christ to bring this covenant into reality. Christ is the primo Elect One. We become part of the elect through Faith in Christ. Abraham is the father of Faith and we become "sons of the household"...

THE GATES OF HADES will not win is: JESUS' Promise to HIS CHURCHES.

I understand this phrase to mean, "Not even death will stop the church from completing her mission." Hades as in death, not the lake of fire. And we have many Christian Martyrs to attest to this. Christ Himself attests to this, not even death could stop God's will in Him from being completed.

    N.T. Wright

Right--and someone may have already said this--but this is why Jesus told Nicodemus, "You must be born AGAIN," because being born as a descendant of Abraham did not make one a child of God. Only through the birth of the Spirit can one become a child of God. Pretty simple, really.

John MacArthur - Christ, Not Caesar, is head of the church

What happens when they don't pay the property tax?

John MacArthur - Christ, Not Caesar, is head of the church

If churches pay their own property taxes that means the state owns all the church's property.
