Be Libertarian: The Case for Our Own Party

The comments here don't understand the point of Libertarianism. It's to remove the government from individuals lives. It does not rely on any system of morals or goals it just promotes freedom it's then up to us to have a moral culture not a government that makes us moral.

Be Libertarian: The Case for Our Own Party

I don't think you understand Libertarianism correctly. Yes it's amoral that's the point. It removes morality from politics and just lets people do what they want. Now culturally that should not be allowed but legally absolutely.

    Elder rule, lead

I grew up a PK so I saw a lot of southern Baptist churches and the best answer I got for why we have deacons rather than elders and a trustees committee rather than deacons is tradition and it makes people uncomfortable. I identify as more of a reformed Baptist and think it's best just to...

Do Baptists come under the unbrella of Protestants

It sounds like you deny our ana-baptist heritage. I tend to separate ana-baptist from Protestant due to a little bit of murder of early Baptist by order of the Protestant churches. I'm sure you know this Ana-baptist means second baptist referring to being baptized as an adult which at the time...

    Free Will

I believe this belongs here. This seems to be extremely controversial even to other Baptist and Protestants. Do you believe in free will? If so how do you justify free human will along side fundamental theological ideas like TULIP and more importantly God's awesome sovereign authority.
