You are correct. No Protestant aided in its construction. It was the Baptists who aided in its construction long before there were any Catholics around.

I agree to a point. While reaching the lost may not be the purpose (I prefer to say the SOLE purpose) of assembling together, but if we are commissioned to reach out, reach the lost, and preach the gospel to all nations, then sometime during a church service is the perfect oppotunity.
