    Bill Nye the foolish guy

This article explains the difference between historical science and operational science: http://www.answersingenesis.org/articles/ee/what-is-science The following is a small part taken from that article: "Operational (Observational) Science: a systematic approach to understanding that...

What if a Christian Commits Suicide?

A person's belief in “the security of the believer” will a lot of times determine his belief on what happens to a professing Christian that commits suicide. If OSAS is true, then if one believes it is possible for a Christian to commit suicide, then the person is still saved after he commits...

    Eternal Life vs Life Eternal

If this debate continues, I think you will be amazed at how one can twist Scripture to try to make it support the belief of annihilation. I can not see how one can read what the Bible says about the final fate of unbelievers and think it means anything other than conscious eternal torment. In...

    Dinosaurs?

I have read where some believe this. This usually goes along with believing that God created the fossil record to test our faith. I do not believe God would ever do anything deceptive like this. The fossil record fits very well in a "recent" (6,000 years ago) six-day creation framework.

    Job 41 & 39 Dinosaurs

Who is to say that the salinity of the ocean is the same or about the same as it was "in the beginning"? We have no real way to know the salinity content of the ocean before the flood. Also, how do we know that at one time most or all of the fresh water fish could not tolerate salinity to some...

    Job 41 & 39 Dinosaurs

Sometime after Creation Week (Creation Week = about 6,000 years ago) and before the birth of Christ. Same answer. Regardless of this answer, the entire Bible (God’s Word) was meant for everyone. Why do you assume these people would know nothing about dinosaurs? Actually, what you...

    Job 41 & 39 Dinosaurs

Am I understanding you correctly...you do not believe that dinosaurs ever existed? You do know that when the Bible was translated into English, the word, "dinosaur", had not been coined/invented yet. Therefore, any reference to creatures that were dinosaurs would not have been called...

    Job 41 & 39 Dinosaurs

How do you know this for sure?

    Was there a Pre-Adamic Race

(Answering before reading all the posts...) No, there was no "pre-Adamic race" before Adam. Adam was the very first human God created. Only old earth compromises force one to have to consider that there may have been a "pre-Adamic race".

    Job 41 & 39 Dinosaurs

Actually, all dinosaur kinds alive at the time of the flood would have been on board the ark. Those that were on the ark that are now extinct died out after the flood.

    Creation in Six Days?

I asked this question in another thread under a different title. Since it never was answered I thought I would ask it in a thread of its own (modified a little): If one just read the Bible and did not know what "long-age" evolution teaches, then what would this person probably believe about...

    NT six literal days

Question: If one just read the Bible and did not know what "long-age" evolution teaches, then what would this person probably believe about how long God took to create?

    NT six literal days

I guess those that believe in "millions-of-years", etc. would think/say that AiG is spreading lies. I am well aware that "pseudo-science" is a favorite word among the critics of AiG. What Scriptures do AiG ignore? I am sure they would like you cite them on this. As for what you bring up...

    NT six literal days

Well, for starters we know how long He took and in what order He created...it's in Genesis.

    NT six literal days

Your post presumes that there was indeed a gap between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2 (at least I assume those are the verses to which you refer). These articles adequately show that the Gap Theory does not hold up: Can evolution’s long ages be squeezed into Genesis? The gap theory—an idea...

    NT six literal days

(posting here before I have read further that this...) How could God "scientifically" explain a miraculous event? Besides, what it sounds as if you are saying has one or more underlying assumptions. It sounds like you are suggesting that God explained creation the way He did because if He...

tragic_pizza, I actually had answered some of your questions when I realized that what you asked did not matter anyway and I took them off. I can gather from the "history" questions you asked what you are setting up here but I really do not see the point in going in that direction since you...

I can provide you with link(s) to articles that I think have rebutted this, but most likely you will disagree.

    NT six literal days

Not trying to...just asking a question. I did not say what you were doing; I asked if that is what you were doing. It was somewhat of a rhetorical question. Asking a question already knowing what the answer will probably be is not necessarily putting words in someone's mouth. Rhetorical...

    NT six literal days

Why do you feel the need to resort to name calling? I have learned history. To what history are you referring? I believe that God is the author of the Bible. Yes, He used humans to write the Bible, but they were inspired by God. What they wrote, God wanted them to write...hence, it is...
