    Jesus Christ did not return to earth in the 1st century

    Christ Jesus made it clear that His coming would be visible and that those who saw Him would recognize who he is. ('they shall see him whom they pierced'). He did not come as a 'comet'. Furthermore, the entire world would be involved and not just Israel & the Roman legions who invaded the land...
