The FBI was called upon to investigate threats to teachers and staff, not simply against parents who oppose critical race theory.
The people making threats range from those opposed to critical race theory to vaccine rejectors who oppose masks.

Is it OK with you for FBI to investigate that? Should be a county, city, or state issue.
It doesn't matter what Merrick Garland is investigating. The fact is that Anti-Communists are getting investigated period, by politicized Feds while those that burn, pillage and kill get nothing done to them. Justice is not applied evenly.
There are 2 different justice systems in the U.S now and the FBI is playing along. Who gets to define "harassment" in that statement? According to our government the Communists chasing Manchin and Sinema around are "exercising their 1st Amendment" while the parents yelling at school board members to "stop turning our children into communists" are performing "harassment".
It's a total joke.

The problem is not the "anti-communist" part. I also think critical race theory should be banned....it is stupid.
The problem is the part where they are threatening people and committing violence.
I agree with demanding critical race theory stop. But I am not going to threaten or harm people for that agenda.
It depends on whether or not a felony has been committed. I am not sure the level of threats and violence.
I do believe the role of educating should be a state and not federal issue.
Seems to me that anymore the majority of “investigations” are into something/anything that bucks the current “authorities” authority!!!???
Sorta like during the last administration seemed to be all sorts of “investigations” into something/anything that was Republican.
Some on here seem to not have noticed this trend!!!

So, it now requires FBI to investigate felonies.
Requires? No. I am not sure they are saying the FBI was required to be called in.
But looking at the FBI website they do work on cases with local law enforcement. I'm sure threatening violence can be considered domestic terrorism.

Ignoring numerous instances in which parents have been stopped from speaking out against school board attempts to implement woke programs for their children, Garland attacks parents with an overly broad brush saying "there has been a disturbing spike in harassment, intimidation, and threats of violence against school administrators, board members, teachers, and staff who participate in the vital work of running our nation's public schools."
