“Terrorism against our nation will not stand.”
    - George W. Bush – Remarks at Emma Booker Elementary School. Sarasota, Florida
    delivered 11 September 2001, 9:30 A.M. EDT

“Time is passing. Yet, for the United States of America, there will be no forgetting September the 11th. We will remember every rescuer who died in honor. We will remember every family that lives in grief. We will remember the fire and ash, the last phone calls, the funerals of the children. “
    - President George W. Bush, November 11, 2001

May we never forget :tear: :praying:

Remembering the great wound that was given to the US on 9-11 and I'm praying for the families affected by the attacks. We will never forget. It is seared into our hearts.

The Moslems are remembering being forced out of Spain by Ferdinand and Isabella in 1492.

I thought it was the Jews who were expelled?

The Moors were expelled first from Spain in 1492,then the royals decided to rid Spain of the Jews too.

    So, you are both correct.

    Cheers,

Korean War has been forgotten. Vietnam has been forgotten. WW2 is remembered because it is the ONLY war in which we have an honest claim of being a victim.

South Korea was a victim!!!! I guess it is a forgotten war. The North, supported by China, invaded South Korea. We weren't there to win a war. We were simply there to defend a free nation who invited us under the UN. It was a fierce three years, I can tell you, and look where it is to-day!

    Cheers,

    Jim

I agree that South Korea was attacked. It was a UN war, yes? The Gulf of Tonkin incident never happened.
