Things like this simply aren't the responsibility of any school. If they caught wind of a rumor like this, they should have passed it on the parents and left it with the parents to deal with. A school is supposed to be a place of learning, not a substitute for parents.

I think that home schooling is a great option for folks, but I would not trade for the education both my children receive at their public school.
A school is supposed to be a place of learning, not a substitute for parents.

It's just that when I read about situations like this one, I breathe a sigh of relief knowing I don't have to deal with it with my kids.
