160,000 posts on the BB

    Even though many threads have been deleted during the last 2 years, there are approximately 160,000 posts on the BB.

    There's plenty of quality reading material scattered around this site.

    Yes, and for the top 3,000 do a search on "Gina".
    Hehehehehe.
    You know what would be kewl? If the posts archived in theology had their own separate section for reference. [​IMG]
    Or even better, just print it out as a book as sell it! I'll buy the first one. :D

    Here's a question I have:

    JCLWRB is #4998
    Keith M is #5009

    Then who is #5,000? And why does it say we have 4800 registered members?

    New member registrations are approved once or twice a day. Since, the BB gets approximately 10 new registration every day, it is not unusual to see to the new member's number jump even 10 at a time.

    The reason why the member#'s is higher than the # of members is that many members were banned since June 2000 and many member profiles were corrupted during the server switch in March 2001 and had to be deleted. Every time a new member registers, the system assigns the next member #. So, in total 5,020 individuals registered for posting priviledges but only 4,801 registrations are currently still in the database.
