2 Federal Judges Rule Against Trump’s Latest Travel Ban

One to the body, one to the head.
-------------------------------------------------------

A federal judge in Hawaii issued a nationwide order Wednesday evening blocking President Trump’s ban on travel from parts of the Muslim world, dealing a stinging blow to the White House and signaling that Mr. Trump will have to account in court for his heated rhetoric about Islam.

A second federal judge in Maryland ruled against Mr. Trump overnight, with a separate order forbidding the core provision of the travel ban from going into effect.

The rulings were a second major setback for Mr. Trump in his pursuit of a policy that he has trumpeted as critical for national security. His first attempt to sharply limit travel from a handful of predominantly Muslim countries ended in a courtroom fiasco last month, when a federal court in Seattle halted it.

There is no shortage of left wing activist judges with no respect for the constitution.

Will the judges be put on trial if/when we have another Muslim extremist attack on US soil? Everytime there is a Muslim "honor killing" in the US (we average 25 per year) shall we give these judges 40 lashes for their assistance in the crimes?

M, can you document this "honor killing" number?

How many Christian men kill their wife in a fit of rage ... honor or no honor?

Do you agree with the following from Wikipedia:

Christian Domestic Discipline
There is a subculture called "Christian Domestic Discipline" that promotes corporal punishment of wives by husbands. While its advocates appeal to the Bible to support their views, the movement has also been described as a form of S&M and there is a FetLife page devoted to it. It has also been described as inherently abusive and as primarily appealing to mentally disturbed individuals.

How many Christians can point to their holy scripture and justify the killings?

You seem ignorant of the teaching of the Quran and the Hadith.

Our government is commissioned with keeping its citizens safe from harm. These judges are stopping the government from keeping US citizens safe by not allowing the government to vet immigrants coming from dangerous areas of the world. Those judges should be held responsible if any harm comes to any citizen because of their negligence.

Quite a few fundamentalists and fringe groups who cherry pick verses from the both the OT and the NT for justification.

For instance they misinterpret Ephesians 5:22, Wives submit to yourselves to your husbands as you do the Lord.

Here are other versus misinterpreted used by wife-eating christians:

1 Peter 3:1 Likewise, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands, so that, even if some refuse to believe and obey the word of God, they will be won over without a word, because of the behavior of the wives.

1 Peter 3:5-6 For in the same way, the holy wives of former times, whose hope was towards God, also adorned themselves, being in subjection to their own husbands; just as Sarah submissively obeyed Abraham calling him, “Lord, who owns me”; whose spiritual child you became when you
began doing what was right and were absolutely not afraid of any terror.

Proverbs 13:24 He who spares his rod hates his son. But he who loves him disciplines him diligently.

So, there are people who say they are Christian who believe that domestic violence against wives and daughters is fine and dandy.

Do you?

How many threads do you need to start on the same topic?

It's not a secret some federal judges, recommended by the office of the President, forget or are ignorant of the fact, they are not charged with the authority of determining who may and whom may not have granted access to enter the US.

U.S. CodeTitle 8Chapter 12Subchapter IIPart II › § 1182 (f)

(f) Suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by President Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.

Are you in agreement with federal judges WHO DO NOT favor adhering to the Law?

Straw man, crabtown boy. You are desperately attempting to deflect from the very real teaching of mainstream Islam regarding the Quran and the Hadith. But, I suspect you are ignorant of both and therefore you don't know how vulnerable you are.

You seem to be rejecting the position of a legitimaste federal Judge in America. What do you recognize as constituting the law? Trump's stormtroopers?

States have rights and they are using those rights to protect their schools and citizens from what they see as an over reaching Federal Government. The process that our founding fathers put in place will play out and the judicial system will decide what happens next.

It works the same no matter if there is an R or Do in office.

The judges in red States under Obama who filed lawsuits against Obamacare, gay marriage and abortions were just using the same law the judges in blue States are using against Trump.

It's silly to be upset at either scenario in my opinion.

That's right. The language of the law and the Constitution are clear. This so called judge chose to ignore both and create his own law.

He is completely off the reservation.

I meant attorney general's file lawsuits and judges rule on them. Which is what happened here and with the previous executive order.

The same exact thing happened under Obama in red States. Attorney general doesn't like Democrats law, they file lawsuits, Federal judge in red state finds justification for restraining order or other ruling in favor and then it proceeds to a higher court.

It's a bit ridiculous to enjoy it under one admin and despise it under another.

He isn't creating law, so maybe you misspoke previously when you said that?

No. I didn't misspeak. If you can't see the differences, you're way beyond reasoning with, so I won't try.

Your view is simplistic and simply wrong. Ridiculous would be a good way to put it.

Not really friend. I am simply pointing out that there are problems in both religions and the misuse of those religions. From my knowledge of Islam mercy killings are not a tenet of that religion any more than mistreating wives is a teaching of Christ. Both are sins. People, both Christian and Muslim misuse their religion for their own purposes.

Oh, even at that, does "abusive" Christianity teach one can go to heaven for beating one's wife or chopping off her head.
