In a closet of my pastor's study I came across 2 old books that I have not used or heard of before...does anyone know anything about them? Are they worth keeping around?

    Pastor,

Years ago thee were three basic concordances: Young's, Strong's and Cruden's....Along with these we said that; Strong's was for the Strong...it was the most exhaustive concordance and theologically accurate (opinion); Young's for the young; and Cruden's for the crude...it was the most direct and brief of concordances.

All three are very useful tombs and age is no barrier except the wording of the biblical text. My Strong's is 1890, and I still use it regularly.

    Cheers,

    Jim
