There are 290 McDonald's outlets in Italy.
None is as good as the old original McDonald's
in ??? (where was the original McDonald?)

Sad isn't it? So which ONE is NOT committing this sin?..........

Phl 1:27 "Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;"

God Bless!

I'm shocked that Baptists have such a split-personality.

Doctrine of Seperation
v.
Doctrine of the evil of Denominations

These two doctrines contradict each other.

Personally I think the Doctrine of Seperation
is the greater doctrine.
The 'evil of Denominations' doctrine is not scriptural.

God works through multiple denominations to
magnify His work of saving souls:

1 Corinthians 9:22 (KJV1611 Edition):
To the weake became I as weake,
that I might gaine the weake: I am made
all things to all men, that I might by
all meanes saue some.

From one of my favorite authors ---

"There's no reason why everyone should be Christian in the same way and every reason to leave room for differences, but if all the competing factions of Christendom were to give as much of themselves to the high calling and holy hope that unites them as they do now to the relative inconsequentialities that divide them, the Church would look more like the Kingdom of God for a change and less like an ungodly mess."

Amen.

Denominations disagree. We decide whether or not to take those disagreements and turn them into divisions.

I think too many of us forget that we serve the same Lord. I think we forget that He had very little to say about worship-specific settings compared to our regular lives. Too many of us forget that at Matthew 5:23-4, Matthew 9:13 and Matthew 12:7 that He placed the former below the latter. I think too many of us forget or ignore this fact: for the most part, we are in agreement over most of the week, and what Jesus Christ values most.

best argument against sola scriptura! How can the Holy Spirit be giving different messages to all these outfits?

I never really placed much stock in to such numbers because they did not allow for some church bodies that operate "autonomously" but are in fellowship with other bodies. Case in point are many of the Lutheran Churches in the world. They are counted as seperate but many of them are in complete fellowship with each other. In this case it is not so much a division in doctrine, though that occurs LCMS, ELCA, and WELS as an example, it is usually it is easier for the Kenyans to manage Kenya, and so on.

And speaking as a Lutheran looking at the churches at least here in the U.S, most protestant churches have very little in difference. I have to admit in Lutheran circles we tend to refer to American Evangelicals as bapticostals, because in our eyes they are all pretty much the same with a few differences regarding spiritual gifts.

You're wrong. It's the best argument for the depravity of man. Scripture is our perfect guide whether we interpret it right or not.

Right you are Tom.

A way to fix a problem is not to go with a answer that is a bigger problem.

God owns the cattle on 1,000 hills

Psalm 50:10 (KJV1611 Edition)
For euery beast of the forrest is mine,
and the cattell vpon a thousand hilles.

Why would some LIMIT GOD to
cattle on just one and only one hill?

The last line in that article,

Do you want to know who God is? Study the Bible. It will change your life.

is obviously the most important one. How to study the Bible? Just do it, realizing that the spirit within grows and grows and grows as you do, until that day when you come into a perfect understanding of 1 Corinthians 2:1-16.

Amen.
